I'm fortunate to work closely with a range of wholesale suppliers throughout the industry to source printing, signage, promotional items, workwear and more, at realistic prices. About me…
After completing secondary school studies and with a keen interest in all things creative I started my tertiary studies by undertaking an Art & Design Practices course followed by a Painting course at TAFE. I then went on to more specific study in Graphic Arts completing an Associate Diploma in Commercial Art at the Queensland College of Art in 1988. I commenced my career in the Printing Industry, spending about eight years working in Graphic Design and Studio Management roles for PR Print & JT-Press. To expand my skills I went on to employment within the Advertising & Design Department of Queensland Newspapers. This experience allowed me to move into the Advertising arena where I once again took on Studio Management roles initially with HMA George Patterson and later George Patterson Bates. Over the years I have fine-tuned my skills by working in a variety of situations with a vast range of clients including: Pine Rivers Shire Council, Bullivants Natural Health Products, Courage Homes, MISteel, The Courier-Mail & Sunday Mail, Morgan & Banks, Ray White Real Estate, Pauls, Energex, Crop Care, Warner Brothers, Stewarts Hotels, Qld Health, Cancer Council Qld and many more. Based on this background, I developed Design Spot as an outlet for my creative skills. I look forward to hearing from you and providing assistance on your future projects.
