next Thursday is a full service creative communications agency. We love the idea that we don’t know how we’ll crack a brief, solve a problem or create something from nothing. But one thing’s for sure, something amazing will happen, and we can’t wait to see what it is. That’s how we think and feel about what we do for our clients. That’s why we’re called next Thursday.

ACOUSTECH UNVEILS BOLD NEW BRAND CAMPAIGN:
The science of silence

AcousTech, a leader in industrial sound insulation, has officially launched a striking new brand campaign designed to break away from the ‘same-same’ of the category and reposition itself as a distinctive force in the industry. Developed in partnership with creative agency nextThursday, the rebrand brings a fresh identity, positioning and personality to a sector typically dominated by functional marketing.

At the heart of the campaign is a confident and memorable new tagline: The science of silence. This line encapsulates AcousTech’s unique value proposition—merging deep scientific expertise with a clear customer outcome: silence. In a market where ‘noise’ often implies disruption and dysfunction, AcousTech proudly champions silence as a positive, premium state—one backed by proven acoustic solutions.

A NEW IDENTITY DESIGNED TO MOVE WITH SOUND
The brand’s revitalised logo is a striking visual metaphor for AcousTech’s core business. Inspired by sound equalisers, each character in the wordmark rises and falls like sound waves—bringing sound to life through design. “This dynamic visual identity reflects our company’s forward-thinking approach and commitment to innovation and sound control,” said Ronnie Evenden, Manager – Industrial Noise Control at AcousTech.

A BRAND VIDEO WITH HEART
To support the campaign, nextThursday also delivered a compelling new brand video that captures the essence of AcousTech’s purpose and positioning. “We pulled out all the stops to produce a high-quality brand video that adds real emotion and depth to the AcousTech story,” said Dan Adler, Managing Director at nextThursday. A suite of shorter, product-specific videos was also developed to provide added proof points around the companies’ core capabilities.

A CATEGORY DISRUPTOR WITH REAL WORLD EDGE
With a refreshed identity and a clear message, AcousTech is well-positioned to lead the next era of innovation in industrial sound insulation—where science backs every decision.

A big team effort, with special thanks to the team at AcousTech:
- Filmed by Brendan Williams Films
- Sound by RoscoAudio RAaaaaa
- Creative Direction and Art Direction by Andy Iles
- Senior Writer Nick Ikonomou
- Senior Designer and video editing by Martyn Gallagher
- Account Direction by Stef Bartlett
- Strategic Direction by Dan Adler

OUR LOGO DESIGN PROCESS Like most designers in 2025 I wear many hats. From the (very) occasional print job, to social media assets, motion graphics, sound design, video editing, document & web layouts, UX/UI etc. What I have always loved the most though, is logo design - it's still my favou

We love giving our brand partners quality customer service. We think it gives our creative agency a real point of difference. We have super experienced Account Directors who are intuitively thinking three steps ahead (well, actually it's more like 10+😊).

And our Senior Creatives, who you actually have a collaborative working relationship with, care deeply about the commercial reality of ensuring their work delivers unreasonable results.

Big thanks to our new friends at Flexshield up in Toowoomba who are about to reveal some very big news - stay tuned for more! We absolutely love working on your account.

If your creative agency is treating you like a small fish in a big pond, consider a switch to nextThursday for a strong start to the new financial year.

On set today Nick and Andy are shooting with Brendan Williams. All will be revealed very soon!

7 years ago, our team at nextThurday were given an opportunity to change a brand that was 48yrs old and very stale. No matter how much the brand yelled at their customers with 450+ TARPs per week, they had hit their glass ceiling and struggled to grow.

Andy Iles and Dan Adler flew to Sydney to pitch to the Private Equity firm and looked them square in the eyes and told them they needed a rebrand. New brand name, new image, new positioning, new story telling - not yelling and selling.

Fast forward and Amart Furniture rolled out their new look nationally across 50+ stores. Result: Boxing Day Sales results set a new record, 30% above the all time history books in revenue for the week. That's an unreasonable result.

Here's a look back at the mash-up of 'The Martins' that helped reposition and reinvent the Amart Furniture brand, taking it from the account no agency in town wanted to put on their books, to the brand every media and creative agency were falling over themselves to throw their hat in the ring.

Big thank you to our brand partner Kev McAulay for bringing us to the table and for putting your trust in our team at nextThursday.

If your brand is lacking in relevance, and differentiation, or your competitors are eroding your market share, put your trust in our experienced creative professionals, and let's chat between now and next Thursday.
