Easter weekend wrap up 🐰🌸

We had a quiet weekend gardening, watching footy, a country drive, hot cross buns and Easter eggs. We cooked a lamb roast in our new air fryer, it took 20 minutes! Eaten with home grown salad at a table decorated with home grown flowers.

Hope yours was lovely too 🧡

Happy Easter Friends 🌸🐰 Sharing some scenes from previous Easter flowers both in Australia and England.

We’re having a quiet Easter this year. Today we will be planting daffodil and tulip bulbs, sowing sweet peas and Ranunculus corms. After a few years in Brisbane I’m really excited to be planning a spring garden again!

Snaps from our weekend camping, including a closer look at our set up (lots of you interested in this) and a few kangaroos. Enjoy ☺️

1. Sunset selfie on the stroll back from the toilet.

2. A closer look at our set up - fridge and storage in the back, awning attached to the roof rack folds up in seconds. Swag rolls up and goes on the roof with the chairs and table. Super simple and after a few more additions will be just how we want it. We’ve been dreaming about and slowly building this up for years!

3. Morning view from the swag 🙌 we recently upgraded our swag and this was its first use. So much more room and super comfortable.

4. Sunrise over the river was magical.

5. cooking tea.

6. Which was burgers 🍔

7. The road into camp.

8. Morning light on the water.

9. Super relaxed mode activated 🙌

10. The colours of the bush were so beautiful. Natures pallet always inspires me.

11. The dunny! We camped in the national park and there are a few very well maintained drop toilets. We were the only people there so only had to share it with the flys 😂

12. There were lots of pelicans (which I feel I’ve never seen so far from the coast) we spend a lot of time watching them fly in and land on the river.

13. If my book wasn’t in my hand, my camera was!

14. The set up.

15/16/17. Kangaroos 🦘

18. The drive out.

Thanks for following along 🧡🏕️

I did something I haven’t done in far too long over the weekend…. Took my camera out to capture a garden! We visited lovely took a packed lunch and enjoyed the mid summer garden.

It’s a lovely place to visit and I’m sure we will be back a few times this year as the seasons continue to change the landscape and gardens.

Weeks 1 & 2 of January were filled with wonderful company, great food and good wine!

We dropped Ollie and Ella off at the airport last night in a tearful goodbye after spending a fun filled 3 weeks together making memories 🧡

It’s time for us to settle into our new routine in Adelaide, with David starting work on Monday and me hopefully securing a new job soon!
