So much JOY ✨ Heading to Rio for a couple of months to hug my loved ones after 3 long years! We have a new little member in our family and I can’t wait to finally meet him!

But before I go I’m taking a moment to be fully present here, sitting at my favourite spot in Kirra, soaking it all in….

My heart feels big and warm in this gorgeous place, where I rebuilt my life and created an incredible community of new friends, neighbours and random locals who smile back and stop to say G’day. I truly feel like I belong here and this is a very, very sweet thing for an immigrant. What an honour 🥹🦋♥️

Cheers to wonderment, excitement and connection! Life is beautiful, magical, mysterious and I’ve learnt to trust it wholeheartedly.

Taking off tomorrow with a big Brazzo smile on my face! 😁 x

It’s been a minute since I’ve shared a portfolio piece. This is part of the gorgeous visual identity we created for Inner Landscaping, a project I hold close to my heart.

Inner Landscaping - inspired by permaculture (Australia’s greatest intellectual export) - is an ecosystem of rituals and practices to nurture the creative soul.

Created by the brilliant writer Kinchem Hegedus, the inner landscaping journey inspires creativity through increasing awareness of nature’s impulse to adapt, thrive and evolve.

Behind each graphic element and illustration, the identity emerges – Australian natives that honour place and land; the seed sprouting; the chrysalis as a symbol of transformation; and the interrelated elements of our inner landscape.

This project has been a wonderful process for honing in on my own creative direction skills, bringing together so much of what I personally love and stand for.

Welcoming the new season I’ve been grappling with:

✨ How to minimise noise and mindfully contribute to the conversation about culturally-aware, regenerative entrepreneurship?

✨ How to keep refining PLEASURE-filled business practices that support the commercial wealth of my entire ecosystem?

✨ How to effectively apply decades of self-development beyond my personal domain? In other words, how does personal power translate into collective liberation?

✨ And finally, how to keep envisioning and creating Beauty as a contributor for social change?

Questions - more than answers - inform my business model and inspire my heart’s work. We can only create what we can imagine.

What aspects of regenerative design am I passionate about — social, economical, environmental, spiritual? What part of my ecosystem turns me on?

What can I actually do to make my work of greatest use to all life?

What would the world would look & feel like if harmony between self, community and environment was not only possible, but a given?

The art of celebrating ✨

In Dragon Dreaming - a design methodology I’ve been experimenting with - we learn about the four different stages of a sustainable project: dreaming, planing, doing and celebrating.

Based on systems thinking and inspired by Australian aboriginal wisdom, this method shows how each stage is equally important. The same amount of energy that goes into planning or doing also goes into dreaming and celebrating.

Imagine if we held celebration with the same importance as ex*****on. What would be different if we allowed ourselves to fully integrate the wisdoms and skills received from the past cycle, before going straight into the next thing?

As I deprogram my own addiction to ‘what’s next’, I noticed that Celebration generates more joy and inspiration, which becomes renewable fuel for the next creative cycle. That’s the wheel of sustainable project management in motion.

So after a busy season of ex*****on, my celebration this past month involved a break from social media, long bike rides, a fun sleepover with my besties, wine by the fire and cosy early nights.

Dancing in my own rhythm sets me free.

This is one of those projects that crack the heart wide open! For the last couple of months I’ve been working with the spectacular women from Logan Women's Health & Wellbeing Centre to reveal a clear vision and brand for their social enterprise BE.

LW & BE are a community organisation doing really important work providing health and wellbeing services for women of all ages and backgrounds experiencing crises and financial vulnerability.

They are a passionate team of counsellors, community educators and overall big-hearted / badass women who believe there is a prosperous future for community work, if we dare to be bold and creative within the human services space.

My branding process always involves thorough Visioning, but in this case we've been diving deeper into strategy and product development, refining a model that will support the longevity of their nonprofit programs.
