Even on holidays, there’s always time to say hello to a client! 😊

While enjoying a few days in Adelaide, Nell made a point of dropping into one of Australia the Gift’s two Rundle Mall stores to say hello.

It was lovely to meet Jeremy and, of course, to hear McGirvanmedia’s in-store music playing while she was there. 🎵

There’s something special about visiting a client in person and experiencing our work in the environment it was created for.

Meet Angus 🎙️

Since joining the McGirvanmedia voice family, Angus has brought plenty of versatility and personality to the studio.

From high-energy and enthusiastic, to warm and conversational, or polished and corporate, he has the ability to adapt his delivery to suit the business, audience, and message.

But Angus's creativity extends well beyond voiceover.

Based in Ipswich, Queensland, he's also an independent musician, songwriter, and performer, creating original music that combines catchy melodies, honest storytelling, and a healthy dose of humour.

In 2026, Angus is focused on releasing more original music, growing his audience, and bringing his songs to life through live performances, music videos, and creative online content.

And when he's not behind the microphone or working on music? You'll often find him hosting karaoke, planning his next creative project, or spending time with his cat, Louie. 🐱

We're fortunate to have Angus as part of our voice family and love the versatility he brings to each recording.

Not a bad view to start the day at Oaks Glenelg Plaza Pier Suites! ☀️🌊

Oaks is a valued McGirvanmedia client, so it was lovely to experience the brand from the guest side last week.

Their welcome letter caught our attention too. It’s friendly, conversational, and full of personality, a great example of how a brand can carry its voice through the different touchpoints of the customer experience.

We spend a lot of time thinking about how brands sound, so we tend to notice these little details wherever we go.

This September, the Project Australia team will take on an incredible challenge, running 4,000km non-stop from Perth to Bondi Beach, raising funds and awareness for Beyond DV and the important work they do supporting women and children rebuilding their lives after domestic and family violence.

A great phone system is only part of the caller experience. ☎️

We work with IT and telecommunications providers across Australia who take care of the technology their clients rely on every day.

🏃‍♀️ We did it!

Yesterday, Michelle and Heidi represented Team McGirvanmedia at Bridge to Brisbane, proudly taking part in support of our chosen charity, St Vincent de Paul Queensland. 💙

It was a fantastic morning filled with plenty of smiles, encouragement, and community spirit. Most importantly, it was an opportunity to support an organisation doing incredible work for people experiencing hardship across Queensland.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, cheered them on, or simply wished them well. Your support genuinely means a lot.

Michelle and Heidi might be feeling the legs today... but they made it across the finish line! 😄🏃‍♀️
