Position: DevOps Engineer
Location: Sunshine Coast
Start Date: 1/7/2020 (approx)
Duration: 6 months initially (extensions are possible)
Hours: 72.5 hours per fortnight

Key Responsibilities
Provision, configure and manage the development, test and production environments
Support and monitor the cloud platform
Develop and support deployment scripts
Manage source code repositories
Analyse infrastructure costs
Make recommendations to ensure a smooth, reliable and scalable service is maintained
Ensure disaster recovery processes and backups are performed
Engage with various stakeholders

Mandatory
At least one year experience as a DevOps engineer
Microsoft Azure experience
Visual Studio Team Services experience

We have TWO positions for a Customer Support Officer:

- Full-time: 72.5 hours per fortnight (full-time). Dates from ASAP to 30/6/2020.

- Part-time: 36 hours per fortnight (Mon 8-5, Tues 8:30-1:30, Wed 8:30 - 1:30). Dates from ASAP to 29/5/2020.

Pay scale is: Service Desk Officer - Office 3

Mandatory Requirements:
Certificate IV in Information Technology or equivalent
Relevant experience in the ICT industry, preferably IT Service Desk
Strong customer focus, time management and communication skills. With demonstrated ability to trouble shoot problems or know when to escalate
‘C’ class driver’s licence – there may be an occasional requirement to travel and work from other work locations

Key Responsibilities:
Provide front-line customer service, support and advice about Digital Information Systems (DIS) and technology environments including first and some second level service request resolution for identified service types
Support and maintain the Service Desk telephone support line and the new job request queue. Ensure all IT support telephone calls and new job requests are attended to within the agreed service levels
Manage, configure and maintain the Service Desk application ensuring data is up to date and accurate, and the system is configured appropriately as well as developing and maintaining documentation
Pro-actively identify call trends and escalate potential issues that may arise from customer requests including the recognition of re-occurring issues by advising DIS Management
Ensure frequently asked questions, work instructions and support documentation is up to date in the KnowledgeBase
Collaborate with the team to facilitate Team and Branch wide alignment on all support activities
Assist with provisioning of user access, permissions and other services as requested by DIS Management
Participate in the development of a healthy and safe workplace. Embracing initiatives, information and training and incorporating safety into all daily activities. Demonstrate safe work behaviours, abiding by procedures, identifying and reporting hazards, and contributing to all aspects of a safe workplace culture
Such other relevant duties as required from time to time which would generally fall within the scope of this position

Security Analyst for ensuring the success of a Cybersecurity Program from a technical perspective, through optimisation and/or replacement of security systems and associated policies and processes.

Responsibilities

- Provide technical security expertise in relation to the design, planning, integration and implementation of appropriate security infrastructure with reference to Queensland Government IS27001.
- Analysing and developing strategies and solutions that enable program initiatives to be achieved across the branch, while managing and reducing cybersecurity risks.
- Involved in the development and implementation of security policies.
- Provide expert advice, guidance and solutions to relevant stakeholders in security management.
- Educate and mentor staff regarding contemporary security risks and specify actions to be undertaken to reduce the risk of security violations.

Desired Experience

- Professional certifications and/or significant industry experience in Cybersecurity related technologies and systems.
- Email security protocols and processes, including but not limited to SPF, DKIM, DMARC, Phishing and Keyword Filtering (Lexicons)
- Design, implementation and management of Security Incident & Event Management (SIEM) toolsets to collect, detect, investigate, respond and report on Cybersecurity incidents
- Design, implementation and management of web proxy platforms
- Principals and actions required to secure cloud-based applications and virtual environments
- Design, implementation and ongoing management of an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
