Bundaberg North State School
invited me back this year to create a special mural celebrating their 150th anniversary. 🥳 🎈

After battling a week of rain, I was excited to finally complete it last week. The students were my audience every morning and lunch break, keeping me company with plenty of questions and kind words along the way. 🤍

The mural showcases some of Bundaberg’s iconic landmarks, including the Botanical Gardens steam train, the Old Burnett Bridge, the North water tower, sugar cane, and of course, the school’s much-loved mascot, Bertie the Plane. 🚂🌿

A huge thank you to Bundaberg North State School for bringing me on board once again. Stay tuned for some progress videos coming soon! 🎨 🌻 🙏.

A little slice of island paradise created on this Colorbond fence mural for a private home in Toogoom 🌴☀️

This beautiful BnB space already had such a relaxing outdoor shower area, and the mural was designed to bring in bright coastal colours and create an island beach feel that completely transformed the space. 🌊

A huge thank you to my wonderful clients for housing me on site and creating such a warm and welcoming environment while I painted. I’m so grateful for the experience and for such a beautiful stay while working on this mural 🤍🙏.

From little things, big things grow. 🌹 🍃

Just down the hill from my parents sits McIlwraith School, a small and beautiful place with a big heart and an even bigger future. For years, the school had hoped to refresh their ANZAC area, creating a space that feels meaningful, respectful, and worthy of remembrance.

This mural was designed as a tribute to our ANZACs, using a bright, uplifting palette. The combination of poppies and gum flowers brings a sense of warmth and heart, while still honouring the significance of the space. 🤍

On my first day painting, I had the privilege of witnessing their ANZAC ceremony. The respect shown by the students, and their genuine willingness to learn and understand, was special to see.

Thank you, McIlwraith State School for trusting me with such an important space. What a beautiful experience 🎨 🌹.

It’s a little tricky capturing photos of a mural with indoor lighting, but this one is something truly special. 🎨 🖌️

This mural was commissioned by the Y School in Bundaberg as a tribute to Pheobe Bishop, a past student 💛Out of all the possible walls, we carefully chose the common area so she could be remembered in a space that people pass through daily😌

This mural isn’t just beautiful, it shows strength while still reflecting the school’s values. 💪 🌻

I hope every teacher, parent, student and visitor who walks past takes a moment to remember who this mural is for, and the story it holds.

It was a real honour to create this. Thank you 🤍🌻.
