Open ended play is having a moment, and this setup at Kool Kidz Mill Park is a beautiful example.

Natural materials that can become anything, with letters scattered through the grass. One child sees a forest, another hunts for the letters in their name, another builds a home for the little explorer. Every version is the right one.

It’s all part of their play based Kool Beginnings Curriculum, and you can feel how much care goes into every space.

Reason 37263 why I love Fit for 2!
A couple of weeks ago my son was sick so all of my plans went out the window (including my exercise class). But instead of missing my workout altogether, I just hopped on Zoom and got moving from home while he played at home around me. Here I am being an absolutely fitspo as you can see. If I can do it - so can you!

Minimal equipment is required, making it super easy for anyone to participate from home. And if you do need some weights or resistance bands, Anita organises it all for you.

It’s hard to believe that its time to start organising End of Year celebrations but here we are. We have decided to partner with Fit for 2 due to the amazing cross over we have of members. We know the end of the year is a busy time for everyone so this way we can celebrate with both groups together!

We recognise that different events appeal to different people so we have decided to host two events to celebrate the year that was. One that is child friendly and the other for ladies who would prefer a night off!

Mum guilt is something almost every mum I know carries. Snapping when you’re exhausted, craving five minutes alone, feeling like you’re never quite doing enough.

That’s why we’ve teamed up with The Centre for Positive Psychology to bring you Grace over Guilt, a morning session all about swapping self criticism for self compassion.

Friday 23 October, 10am to 11.30am at Mini Me Mango, Bundoora. Order brunch or coffee and then learn some practical tips on how to be kinder to yourself from the Psychologists at The Centre for Positive Psychology.

Kids are welcome, though we’d encourage a bit of you time if you can manage it.
