- 9 drawer combo with 227kg slides
- Centre divider and molle panel on the drivers side to aid with hanging gear.
- Refitted centre hoop to the canopy roof so the boys can keep loading timbers across the roof racks.

Toyota LandCruiser tray and toolboxes for Qmax Diesel.

Quinn originally came to us wanting a set of upper toolboxes remade with a layout better suited to his work. By the time his build slot came around, he’d seen enough of our work to opt for a full tray replacement and complete setup from scratch.

The result is a clean, purpose-built system with heavy-duty drawer storage and plenty of usable space to keep everything organised and accessible on the job.

A big upgrade from the previous setup and one that’ll make day-to-day work a lot easier.

A monster set of boxes built for Platinum HDM.

We worked with Jayden to design a layout tailored to his heavy diesel work, fitting the boxes out with heavy-duty, non-locking 227kg slides and fully adjustable shelving.

With plenty of height to work with, we also added tray-access cabinets above the main canopy section—perfect for storing longer items while keeping everything sealed from dust and water.

vamp of an earlier build for RAS Diesel.

We replaced the factory Toyota tray with a custom space-cab aluminium tray, built to match the rest of Robbie’s fleet. The new tray is full aluminium construction, improving the visual aspect and reducing overall weight.

While the vehicle was in, the existing steel boxes were white-blasted to extend their service life and restore a like-new finish.

It was an interesting comparison pushing the steel boxes around — with every component above the tray made from steel, including the drawers, this setup is estimated to be 2–3× heavier than an equivalent aluminium specification.

First Ranger Super Duty completed by us.
With the increased weight ratings, the Super Duty fills a clear gap in the Australian market for larger caravans and more involved canopy setups—without stepping up to a full-size American ute.

Weighing in at 2940kg in this picture and a 4,500 kg GVM it’s left with over 1500kg payload and 4,500 kg towing capacity, it offers far more freedom and confidence when packing for longer trips or longer work days.

We wrapped up the year by completing the final 2 of 4 Toyota Hilux builds for Shane from SB Heavy Diesel, with these two heading straight back for pre-delivery with Rockingham Toyota.

A heap of design and shape input went into these from Shane, and it really shows. He’s been extremely organised throughout the process and an absolute pleasure to deal with — makes projects like this easy from start to finish.

These builds also feature:
• REDARC RS3 AC Transfer Inverters
• All-black 200W REDARC solar panels
• Our new JPFab heavy-duty 10mm aluminium vice holder, designed and built in-house

That’s us done for the year. We’re now closed until January 5th.

Custom internal fit-out for an existing canopy, finished off with one of the biggest Redarc systems we’ve built to date. 🔌⚡️

This setup features the new Redarc Alpha 50A charger, paired with TVMS for full system monitoring and output control.
240V power is supplied via a 3000W Redarc inverter, complete with AC transfer for seamless changeover when plugged in.

Power storage is handled by an Allspark Slimline lithium battery, upgraded to their 300Ah option for serious off-grid capability.

Inside the fit-out:
• JPFab large pantry with integrated cutlery drawer
• Travel Buddy camp oven neatly housed
• Large slide-out drawer with a 3000W Safiery induction cooktop mounted into the table
• Removable control panel positioned beside the Dometic upright fridge for easy access

Levi chooses to use Aztec silver powder coat where he can as it’s the hardest wearing, easy to clean and keeps its finish for the longest of all the powder coat choices.
Aztec silver, or hammertone as it’s more commonly known is frequently used on the aluminium parts of the Kenworth trucks the boys work on to earn a crust.
