Sometimes, it’s hard for me to capture in words the magic that resides within the people and brands I encounter—pure magic. This is one of them. The story, knowledge, and pure intention intricately woven into every facet of this brand are something I’m incredibly proud to be a part of and to share with you all — Introducing Empyreal Clinic.
Empyreal Clinic, led by Zaerën, a clinical naturopath, counselor, and functional blood chemistry analyst, stands at the intersection of traditional wisdom and contemporary medical practice. Grounded in evidence-based research, the clinic is also deeply influenced by Islamic occult science and the Gothic Renaissance, offering a beautifully unique aesthetic & environment.
The clinic’s name, ‘Empyreal’, inspired by the celestial themes in Dante’s visions of the Empyrean, ‘reminiscent of a golden alchemical heaven’ - symbolising a transcendent space of healing. It reflects the mystical and ornate traditions of the Baroque period, also drawing inspiration from Iranian philosopher Seyyed Hossin Nasr’s words: “O soul! When purified from earthly taint, as spirit free, thou shalt toward heaven ride. Thy home the Empyrean!” (Sufism & the perenniality of the mystical quest).
The clinic’s visual identity merges the Caduceus with Sufi-inspired wings and heart, symbolising its dedication to both health, wisdom, and spirituality. The serpents traditionally depicted on the caduceus are replaced with the head of the ‘Simurgh’ - an emblem of wisdom and renewal from Islamic folklore. We have also included the Islamic verse ‘Q26:80’ within the logo, paying homage to Zaerën’s lineage.
Zaerën’s heritage, inspired by her revered Sufi grandfather, infuses the clinic with a philosophy of empathy, acceptance, and comprehensive care, acknowledging the necessity of embracing both light and shadow in our healing journey. By marrying time-honored traditions with scientific research, Empyreal Clinic offers more than just natural treatment; it is a gateway to holistic well-being, providing accessible, authentic care that meets the diverse needs of its clients.
