When you're inside the jar, you can't read the label.
You know your business. You know your clients, your results, the thing people say about you over and over without you even noticing they're saying it.
But you can't see the shape of it from the inside. Not clearly.
This is the bit I find myself explaining most often. People come to me thinking they need “a brand” - a logo, a colour palette, a nicer website. And sometimes that's part of it. But underneath, what they actually need is someone standing outside the jar, looking at everything that's in there - the expertise, the lived experience, the way they're wired, the stories they tell without realising they're stories - and finding the golden thread. The one thing that runs through all of it.
What's a real direction, and what's a distraction.
What to build first.
What to let go of.
That's the work. And it's the work I'll be doing - in a much deeper, slower way than a normal session ever allows - with twelve women in Byron Bay this November.
If you've ever finished explaining your business to someone and they said “oh, so you're basically a ___” and it landed completely wrong… that's the gap I'm talking about.
Comment “E L E V A T E” and I’ll send you the link.
