Super low tides can sometimes expose the shallowest coral above the water! Coral is an amazing animal (yes, animal!), and it will produce lots of slimey mucus when exposed like this to prevent desiccation 🤓

Let's Go Buggin Top 4 for October! It was a very buggy month with abundant species of insects and many fantastic photographic opportunities. Including 1. March Flies (Family Bibionidae, in the Order Diptera) 2. Beautiful Cockroaches (Acrophylla titan) 3. Netwing Mantis and babies (Neomantis australis) 4. Palm Planthopper (Magia subocellata).
