Happy New Year!

I figured I'd start 2023 by enlightening the few people who will read this with some insight as to how my year of being a graphic designer in 2022 ended.

Here are some helpful tips for any current and/or aspiring business owners on what to do/what not to do when you don't like a design:

• If your only prompt is "something simple", expect something simple.

• The first design I show you isn't a finished design. It is there purely for you to give your feedback because I value your opinion. If you don't like the idea, give me a direction or offer suggestions. I can't read your mind.

• If you are told initially the price range is about $100, don't say you're fine with it if you're just going to complain as soon as you are charged - especially when it's under $100 and almost half the price.

• Don't use a screenshot of the sh*tty logo for your socials before you decide to start trashing it and lie about paying. Now you actually have to pay me for using an unfinished design neither of us even liked to begin with.

• If you're expecting a logo to be done on a late Friday night within a couple of hours during a holiday weekend whilst giving no suggestions or feedback whatsoever, let alone any indication you are unhappy with it, all while not even speaking to me directly because you had someone else handle the process for you as a favour - be thankful I charged less than $100. I know the logo sucks, that's why I lowered the price to begin with and offered to redo a completely different design at no extra cost.

• Don't insult a graphic designer for being "desperate for money" if your business is literally selling nangs. You have children. Grow some balls, be assertive, and don't be a sh*tbag.

I hope you all had a happy holidays, this will be the first and last time I get rinsed by a guy named Sheldon. Sheldon sucks.

Our next Padstow RSL Club event will be on October 14th and is titled Path Of Destruction! In the main event we will see former three time WWE Tag Team Champion Charlie Haas take on Ryan Eagles for the All-Star Wrestling Heavyweight Championship! Haas says he's going to take the championship and defend it regularly here in Australia and the United States whilst Ryan Eagles says Haas will be added to the list of men he's already defeated which includes Aries, Carlito, Chris Masters, Keegan Brettle & Luke Watts!

Furthermore, fans in attendance will manage to see a number of new faces and returning faces as also in attendance on the night will be Aries, Cesar, Craven (Debut!), Dan Archer, Hell Yeah, Jack Dullahan (All-Star Wrestling Eastern States Champion), Jasmin Brettle, Johnny Starr, Morgan Rose & Otis (All-Star Wrestling Tag Team Champions) and former seven time Australian Heavyweight Champion Tyson Gibbs (Debut!).

A Night To Remember is All-Star Wrestling's premier event and despite COVID restrictions we have managed to provide our biggest show EVER for fans in attendance on June 19th!

In our first main event the returning Kingston Eclipse puts his All-Star Wrestling Heavyweight Championship on the line against current New Japan Pro Wrestling star and CHAOS member Mikey Nicholls! Mikey Nicholls rarely makes appearances in Sydney whilst Kingston Eclipse has been unable to get into the country since February 2020 so this is set to be a huge main event featuring two of Oceania's best competitors!

As announced earlier today our second main event will feature Elite Wrestling consisting of Falco, Grant Linstrom and Jengis Kong taking on a trio no doubt looking for revenge in Doomanation (The current All-Star Tag Team Champions) and Keegan Brettle (The current All-Star Wrestling Interim Champion). This match is set to be particularly special as it will be an Australian Deathmatch and it promises to be a spectacle that you cannot miss!

Also speaking of returns we're excited to announce that All-Star original and former 2 time champion "The Machine" Blakestone will make his return to the promotion after a 22 month break. The last time we saw Blakestone he was robbed of the All-Star Wrestling Heavyweight Championship, what will he do or say on June 19th? Be there and find out!

Johnny Starr is also set to return, if you were a fan in our Wollongong days you would know Johnny Starr made a huge impact on the promotion and was without question one of the most popular wrestlers in All-Star. We are incredibly excited to have Johnny Starr make his official All-Star return on June 19th in Padstow!

We will also have two debuts on the night as both The Banisher and Tyler Gunn make their respective All-Star Wrestling Australia debuts! Also, All-Star regulars including Dan Archer, El Jaguar, Jack Dullahan, Jasmin Vittora, Mickie Vendetta, Wesley Williams plus plenty more will be in attendance so stay tuned to our social media and website for further information!
