A Style Analysis appointment is harder to 'show' than a Colour Analysis appointment. There is no magic 'Ohh, I see it!' moment.

I start by taking more measurements than you've ever heard of, including neck length, face shape, and vertical proportions.

Then, I add the information to the digital library , which creates a personalised profile for you. It tells you every aspect of clothing that will and won't suit your figure, and why.

But I always drill deeper again. Just because something looks good on your body doesn't mean you feel authentic in it. So we do a Style Personality assessment which really hones in on the clothes you will love reaching for that will announce to the world who you are without you having to say a word.

You don't need the salary of an attorney to look great every time you leave the house.

What you do need is an understanding of what suits your colouring and shape, and clothes that fit you perfectly. Alteration services are not a luxury, they're a life necessity. They make the difference between blah and BAM!

Just because black is not one of your best colours does not mean you can't wear it. You can make black work for you by:

-Wearing it away from your face, i.e.. scoop neckline

-Adding a neckline accessory in a good colour, i.e., a scarf

-Ensuring the contrast is correct between your skin or other colours.

-Make sure the surface and texture of the garment works for you.

-Wearing it below your waist.

Knowing your best colours does not mean being wedded to a particular set of hues. In fact, it should be both enlightening and liberating because, like style, once you know the rules, you can work out how to bend them to your advantage.
