A logo facelift for the Catholic parish of South Woden, Mary, Help of Christians Parish. The heart is representative of the old Sacred Heart Parish. The colours and crown have been inspired from a renaissance Madonna and Child from whom the new parish takes it's name.

The inclusion of the Southern Cross is at the request of the client to further identify the parish as Australian. This version illustrates the abbreviated name.

Who would have thought I would get a design commission from Kazakhstan? Tricky from a typographic perspective as I don't know how well the letters flow. The logo (and translation) is for a primary school – Adilet, School of the Future.

Given the school name and the age of the students, I wanted to inspire them to extend their reach through education. The colours symbolise diversity and possibility. The shapes form purpose, structure and direction.

Twenty years ago, I designed the first two in a series of Australian Coca-Cola phone cards. The Santa card was released for
Christmas in 1994, followed closely by the Polar Bear card.

In those days, Telstra was called Telecom Australia and people still used payphones. Each edition was limited to 10,000 and the cards came in their own folder. Both editions sold out pre-release, and it is unlikely the cards were ever used.

I spent a few very late nights on the phone to Coke's head office in Atlanta, Georgia.

The new, improved logo for Affinity Construction Services. Or at least, the version I would have chosen. I'm currently revamping stationery items and providing the client with images for their website and email signatures.

This was fun, but a little tricky. The client wanted a cartoon look (not great for a logo, though) and the colour green had to be featured. Also, the name was extremely long. I wanted it to reflect the fun aspect. If you haven't ridden one of these things, I highly recommend it.

The Rolls-Royce Owners' Club asked me to design material for their annual rally. It is hosted by a different state every year, in a different part of Australia. This year, the 56th rally was held in May at the Hunter Valley.

It was an open brief, and I really enjoyed this one. The club's name is not particularly accurate, as it includes Bentleys as well as Rolls. I wanted to make the rally symbol easily identifiable and self explanatory on every level. I chose autumnal 'vineyardy' colours. The Spirit of Ecstacy (the chick with wings what sits on the bonnet) sits on a 1950s Bentley bonnet, which in turn, is really a ornamental vine, encompassing the 56.

The logo was featured on all material at the rally, including the program / guide.

Originally designed for an electrical and gas contractor, I wanted to give him something that was instantly recognisable and set him apart from his competition. I also wanted humanise it, yet still give a good visual indication as to what it was for.

If you saw this on the back of a work van, you would take notice.

The client did not go for it as threw him out of his comfort zone. Shame as this one's a winner. It's up for grabs.
