Thoughts on the future of housing in Canberra?
Have your say in shaping the future of housing in Canberra. 🏡
With Canberra's population set to reach 700,000 by 2050, the ACT Government is planning for 30,000 new homes over the next five years.
Changes to suburban zoning and new design requirements will deliver an increased supply of high quality and sustainable 'missing middle' housing types across our city.
The ‘missing middle’ includes homes that are somewhere between detached standalone houses and medium-high-rise apartments, such as multi-occupancy houses on a block, townhouses, terrace homes and low-rise apartments.
But it's not just about building more homes; it's about creating homes that blend seamlessly into our suburbs.
Whether you're a first-time buyer, a growing family, ageing in place or simply seeking more housing choices, we want to hear from you.
