What's it like working at BrandNet?

On April 24th, our team wrapped up the week by gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation of Anzac Day. During our usual happy hour, we took the opportunity to reflect on the experiences of those who served, starting with a look at life in the trenches at Gallipoli. Here’s a sneak peek of the moments we shared. 📸

We enjoyed some Anzac Tiles (took the photo before the tray was emptied!) and bully beef, and played a few rounds of two-up, a classic Australian tradition, to mark the occasion. It was a meaningful way to honour the bravery and sacrifice of our service men and women.

Last month's Avalon Air Show 2025 was a spectacular tribute to aviation innovation and air power, with 350 aircraft on display, thrilling aerobatics, and cutting-edge military technology. More than 200,000 attendees witnessed the breathtaking spectacle, reinforcing Avalon’s status as a premier aerospace event. We are honoured to be part of it as Air Force Shop.

In 2001, we took on a massive project to merchandise the Centenary of the Australian Army. It was a turning point for us at BrandNet, and we're grateful and honoured to be continuing the great tradition of providing quality products to honour our Army.

A month ago, on 24 February 2025, our Managing Director, Stephen Davie, attended a historic moment at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra—the awarding of the first-ever Australian Animal Distinguished Service Award to retired combat assault dog Manic. 🏅🐕

For the first time, AWM is introducing The Australian Animal Distinguished Service Award, recognising the bravery and dedication of animals in both military and civilian service. 🐕🐎 From war zones to rescue missions, these incredible animals have stood by our heroes, saving lives and serving our communities.

The award was initiated by AWAMO and produced in partnership with us ensuring it reflects the significance of the animals it honours. Annually announced on February 24, aligning with the National Day for War Animals, this award marks a new era of recognition for service animals across Australia and New Zealand.
