THIS FLOOD STORY IS 3,700 YEARS OLD ๐ณ๐
In 2011, British Assyriologist Dr. Irving Finkel deciphered a remarkable Babylonian clay tablet describing a massive round boat built to survive a devastating flood. The tablet, known as the Ark Tablet, dates back roughly 3,700 years and contains instructions describing how the enormous vessel was supposed to be constructed. What makes the discovery even more fascinating is that the story includes a flood survivor who was instructed to build a boat and save people and animals. The Babylonian account predates the biblical story of Noah by centuries, raising fascinating questions about how ancient flood traditions were passed between civilizations. The tablet even describes the vessel as circular โ dramatically different from the traditional image of Noahโs Ark. Could these ancient flood stories share the same original event?
