JOB OPPORTUNITY
Cessnock Print Place is looking for a Digital Print Operator. Ideally you have experience working in a digital print shop, operating a digital printer and wide format printers.
However we are happy to provide training for the right person. This is a full time position, with some flexibility in the hours available eg It could be adjusted to work around school hours.
To be the right person:
You can not be afraid of technology or a challenge.
Attention to detail is MUST.
An understanding of the print/design industry is helpful.
Enjoy being active at work.
Happy to work independently
Handle working under pressure.
An interest in the graphic design/print space
Take pride in delivering a great finished product
You will need to be fit and healthy as this a physical job. You will be on your feet for most of the day and carrying around reams and boxes of paper.
You will be interfacing with our small team - customer contact is minimal.
Salary will depend on experience.

To all our valued customers - be aware of our Christmas trading hours.

If you still want last minute printing done before Christmas, we're here to help. Cessnock Print Place is closed from 5pm on 24th December, and will reopen on Monday 6th of January.

If you are looking for a great Christmas gift, give the gift of creativity - Memo Office and Art will be trading as normal through Christmas period, but closed on public holidays.

// Customer-relations & Administration
This is a full-time position

General Print-related tasks include:
• Deal with basic enquiries and know when to refer the call to someone else.
• Using our program to set up jobs in the system – to get the ball rolling.
• Quoting for basic print jobs.
• Contacting customers on the status of their job

General Administration tasks include:
• Being the first person to answer the phone – triaging the call getting the right team member to assist the call.
• Setting up clients and vendors in the system.
• Entering supplier invoices into the system.
• Checking print jobs are correct and set up appropriately for invoicing.
• Letting customer know when their jobs are ready.
• Taking and entering customer payments
• Booking Couriers
• Assisting with basic Marketing activities – eg Facebook Marketing
