โฆand expect great marketing.
Usually, that creates generic content that sounds like everyone else and does very little to help your brand stand out.
Recently, we built a custom BNI 45-second presentation writer for our own business.
But here is the important part:
The AI still relies on us to provide:
โข the idea
โข the context
โข the strategy
โข and the briefing information
The difference is that our custom GPT was built around a clone of our founder and our business DNA.
That means it understands:
โข our positioning
โข our messaging
โข our communication style
โข the words we use
โข and even the words we intentionally avoid
It understands how we think, how we structure information, and how we communicate with clients and referral partners.
But just as importantly, our AI clone also has guardrails, boundaries, and ethical frameworks aligned with our brand.
So if we ask it to create misleading spin, exaggerated claims, or off-brand messaging, it is designed not to do that.
Because good AI should not just replicate your voice.
It should also reflect your standards.
The AI then combines that with proven BNI 45/60-second presentation frameworks and best practices to help shape the final content.
We also built a universal version to help other BNI members.
Because that version is not built around a business-specific AI clone, it relies much more heavily on briefing information from the user.
It asks members questions to help build a proper brief first โ because good AI output depends heavily on the quality of the information provided.
We also recommend users save information about their business, positioning, services, ideal clients, and messaging so future prompts become faster, easier, and more consistent over time.
And honestly?
The best results still come when:
โข humans provide the thinking
โข AI assists with ex*****on
โข and humans review, refine, and improve the final output
That is where AI becomes genuinely useful.
When we brief our own AI tools properly, the results are often very close to final-ready immediately.
Not because AI replaced strategy.
Because strategy guided the AI.
AI is not magic.
It is a tool.
And like any tool, the quality of the outcome depends heavily on:
โข the inputs
โข the direction
โข the structure
โข and the human using it
The businesses getting the best results from AI right now are not the ones replacing people.
They are the ones combining:
human expertise + clear thinking + structured AI workflows.
That is where sustainable value is created.
