MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS TO NORTH PERTH BOWLING CLUB!

We want to extend a huge congratulations to for an incredible fundraising achievement!
Throughout August, the club brought its members and wider community together for a month of dedicated fundraising events and initiatives, raising an astounding $50,000+ for Neuromuscular WA.

What an achievement!

This is a fantastic example of the impact our clubs can have beyond their doors, bringing people together, increasing community engagement, supporting a charity of choice and making a genuine difference.

More than $50,000 raised in just one month. That is community spirit in action.

What a fantastic visit today!

Our Clubs WA team had the pleasure of visiting Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club a wonderful example of what can happen when a club has vision, passion, great leadership and a long-term commitment to its members and community.

It’s incredible to see how this established club has transformed into such a vibrant, thriving destination in a prime location, with a clear focus on growth, activation and creating an exciting future.

A huge congratulations to Melissa Robertson, Club Manager, for the incredible work she and her team are doing. 🙌 Your vision and dedication are a great example of what strong club leadership and a wonderful committee can achieve.

We also love seeing clubs celebrate the positive sponsorship partnerships that help make this growth possible. A special shout-out to the relationship with Liquor Traders through Greg, strong, genuine partnerships like this are so important to the future of our clubs.

Our Clubs WA Ambassador, Conor Nicholas OLY, was fortunate enough to attend today’s season launch alongside our valued Clubs WA sponsor, Liquor Traders Australia, who are also proud sponsors of the Perth Thundersticks.

WHAT A ROAD TRIP!

A huge thank you to for inviting Clubs WA on the road as we visited some of our successful member clubs and saw firsthand what makes them such fantastic community destinations.

QuinnsRocksSportsClub – what a buzz! A busy, vibrant club filled with energy and a real sense of community.

Hillarys Yacht Club – incredible views, beautiful surroundings and plenty of elegance… and we have to give a special mention to that impressive bar!

Marmion Angling & Aquatic Club – what a spectacular way to finish the day. An incredible club with a membership in such high demand that they have an extensive waiting list of people wanting to join.

Every club was different, but they all had one thing in common: strong communities, great people and clubs that are clearly doing something right.

Thank you to the teams at all three clubs for welcoming us and sharing their stories, and a very special thank you to Asahi Group for hitting the road with Clubs WA.

There is nothing better than getting out from behind the desk, visiting our members and seeing WA’s club community in action!

INTRODUCING OUR NEW CLUBS WA BOARD MEMBERS

We are pleased to welcome Craig Bruhn, President of Broome RSL Sub-Branch, and Craig Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club Inc, to the Clubs WA Board.

Both were nominated to the Board in August 2026 to fill casual vacancies and will serve until the Clubs WA AGM in December 2026.

Their appointments bring valuable regional perspectives, leadership experience and strong connections to the club community across Western Australia.

Please join us in welcoming Craig Bruhn and Craig Smith to the Board. We look forward to their contribution as we continue to strengthen, support and advocate for clubs across WA.
