Draft legislation released yesterday that will greatly impact how businesses use social media to reach customers!

If people opt out of the algorithm they’ll only see content from their friends and accounts they have chosen to follow.

So what’s your game plan to prepare for this?

It’s yet another example of why small biz owners shouldn’t rely solely on platforms that we don’t own or control!

Don’t panic, but things like an email list and permanent online presence (directory listing or website) are going to become even more important.

This is one of my favourite photos with my Dad- snuggling on the day bed with myself and my brother (and my doll!)

He has been a self-employed business owner since his early 20’s, owning and running dairy farms, hence the state of his pants 🤣

In this photo he would’ve been exhausted after a 4:30am start and busy day, but he still made time for us, included us in his work day, and made sure we knew he was doing all of it for us and our future 💙

He passed down the entrepreneurial genes as myself and both of my brothers all own our own businesses. This would not be possible without his guidance, support, love and demonstration of how much grit it takes!

Happy Father’s Day, Dad.
You are an amazing father, just as yours was, and you’ve created a legacy of great Dads too 👏🏻

Did you know that when you create a page, WhatsApp is added as the default contact button?

If you don’t use WhatsApp for your business, you’ll need to change this ASAP.

Some other options are Call Now, Contact Us (goes to email), Learn More (goes to a link/website), Message, Book Now, Sign Up etc.
