Devils Brew Coffee House 🔥 The Lighter Menu walks among us — 3 meals, all cheap, 2 almost full-size. I had the half fish and chips, (yep, that one in the pic) and i swear you can’t tell it’s the “light menu item compared to the spicy prawn pasta

grilled chicked salad was also on the lighter menu and yep size doesn't matter??. Filled me like a feast under moonlight 🌙

Who knows how long these size portions will last once people catch the dinner train.
Eat now, brag later. The gate won’t stay open for long.

I had the Smashed Avo,
The "Green sauce" as the chef called it.
Looked like a pesto sauce and tasted like fairy floss thats melting in your mouth, sweet yet sour and everything in between.

Service was quick for a weekend shift

2 Slices of toast but I wished it came with 3 so I can enjoy it for longer.

Only downfall i feel is, because i have a wide frame. The chair dug into my bum a little, and the theme with the devil is great/ interesting but it doesn't translate as it feels like the dinning area is a nuetral setting

Maybe im being picky, but maybe devil image pillows? Os somthing. I'm no artist,

Overall I'm definitely returning to try more.
Iced coffee with my meal as usual.

I have a secret, i don't know if i should tell you all or keep it to myself LOL East Hotel Colac

This was my first time eating at the east,
I had an awesome meal, i had: the East Parma
Mushroom Gravy was a fresh twist on the chicken rather than the usual sauce ya get, it was an eye opener. (secret has been reviled ha-ha)

for the first time, i wasn't disappointed, the size of my meal appears small but that's cause i chose the smaller option rather than the large version. i would have gotten the larger version but we also got an entre and i didn't want to waste any of the food. I was full afterward.

every bite made me excited for the next one until it run out, as usual i had my lemon lime bitters and it was made the correct way, I enjoyed that also. they have a large range of cocktails too.

i would definitely book a table in advance as we were lucky to get a table, it's sad that the town doesn't build around the restaurant rather than away from it, seems a little tucked away instead of being the center of attention that it deserves.

If you haven't been? you should go! the menu has many options and I'm sure, you'll find something you want.

Gellibrand River Hotel

Today I had a really nice burger with the lot and it came with chips

It was stacked and defiantly filled my tummy, burger was juicy, caramelised onions were wonderfull.

The burger was packing the right flavour that could only be beat by having a second

For only $18 I left satisfied.

Customer service was professional and fun this made me feel like I was on the set of "cheers", being greeted as a regular. I enjoyed the casual bantering

Southern fried chicken burger

This was great, the flavours were wonderful and it reminded me when take away chicken had flavour. Chicken was seasoned well. The pineapple was just the right sweetness to chill the jelapenos ( not overly spicey), defiantly would have it again

Meh,
It wasn't bad but somewere above,, it was a little wet for my liking. ( it was sitting in its liquid) , I should have used some salt and pepper to give it some help.

Your tastes may vary, bacon and and mushroom were the flavours that popped the most but it's not much to be proud of.

Sorry, not again( atleast for a while)

Shannon's Cafe today i had the Chiken schnitzel on turkish bread.
A great grab and go.
I had mine to eat in. Served on a plate and toasted to perfection.
It has Swiss cheese, ( no fake stuff) bacon🤤 and caesar dressing, ( sounds mouth watering am I right)

I usually prefer large meals for my lunch however I'm not looking for anything else after this, it filled me nicely.

Located front and center as you walk in, I was lost for choice, the options all looked so good. My ice coffee was delightfull as usual.
