Shopping second hand is one of my favourite ways to stay sustainable. Conscious shopping and not buying just because it's cheap or just because it's on sale is really important too! I always try to reduce my consumption, I reuse, re-wear and mend existing clothes I clothes I have and if I do really need to buy a particular item I'll buy it from an op shop, gumtree or facebook marketplace - giving old items a second life. If you only want to buy your clothes new and unworn, consider shopping from a small business!

Next on my list is my TEDx talk I did at Melbourne Museum, it was definitely a challenging experience speaking in front of so many people, especially with little public speaking experience, but I wouldn't change it. My TEDx talk opened so many doors and I'm so grateful to have been approached by the TEDxUniMelb team.

Tips to stay healthy, alert and fresh when working from home: drink lots of water, get up and move around (sitting at a desk all day is not what our bodies were made to do), maintain your sleep cycle – that blue light on your phone isn't doing you any favours, if you're reading this after 11pm, here's your friendly reminder to put your phone down and get some sleep tonight!
