H E L L O 💙 L O V E L I E S 💙 We are back! Hope you are all well. John had a fabulous time at the Woodford Festival. I had a whole heap of restful quiet and reading and playing with the cats and poking seeds into dirt. John came back and got busy in the yard finishing another veggie bed and working on another raised garden bed. Plus the endless summer mowing…

We did manage to fit in three wedding Open Days over the last two weekends to start the ball rolling for the year again. So the holiday bent around those a tad.

Time to get cracking into the 2026 work year. Answer all the emails on the list, do the work. Let's get moving!

L E T T E R P R E S S 💙 is a wonderful technique of printing. We love the old skills. Photo is from a handset class John took part in at the Penrith Print Museum. It's a wonderful place to learn, with so many skilled tradespeople.

B U S Y 💙 B E E S 💙 We got our 200 books done! This is only one small stack of them. From graphic art layout to print production to hand perfect binding – everything was done in-house in our premises in the Cooranbong Business Park. Really proud of this book. We can't show you more yet as the author is still in Germany researching another book.

Who said manufacturing within Australia is dead. It is getting a tad more difficult, but we are still here doing the work.

If you have a book project – small or large – that you'd like to chat about, then just drop in. We are here Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. We would be delighted to help you out.

We also print all types of business stationery, wedding stationery, do photo copies, spiral binding, laminating, and offer graphic design and logo design – all at reasonable rates.

B O O K B I N D I N G 💙 One of John's tasks this week is to re-bind a special book for one of our clients. When a beloved book falls apart repairing it is an option. It is not a fast process, it is quite labour intensive. It is something that John likes to do though. To help make the life of the book longer. Sometimes you can't simply re-order a book because it is out of print, or it could be hard to find to replace.

John loves bookbinding by hand. The traditional skills are something worth doing and continuing the legacy of print and bookbinding.

W O W 💙 I remember when we bought this printing press. It was worth more than our house. It has served us well over the years. Grateful for it's service. The work that has run through it has paid not only for our mortgage, but also the mortgages of our staff as well over the years. It's a bit of a sad day to say goodbye to it, but everything has a beginning, a middle and an end. Farewell old friend. Technology moves on.

P A U S E 💙 We are sorry for the late notice but we will be closed from 10am today for a funeral. Death is a hard thing when it comes too early. So we are taking a breath to honour the man who has died and raising a glass to him.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. We will be back tomorrow.

💙 B U S Y 💙 B E E S 💙 Yes. We have been quiet on the socials lately. Behind the quietness John and I have been busy as bees. Here is a photo of one of the projects we have worked on recently. "The History of Windale – A Surprise Township" Really proud of how it turned out. Better still, we made deadline!

As a reward for our busyness (and because we worked through our holidays in July) we are taking an extended Long Weekend. We will be closed from 4pm on Thursday 3 October and re-opening at 8am Wednesday 9 October.
