Layer shift 😡

Layer shift is where the printer suddenly prints the next layers misaligned from previous layers, most likely happens when there is an error in the GCode. Long story short, its a failed print that needs to be cancelled and thrown in the bin. Luckily this was only a small print, its a lot more painful on longer prints.
Print is then re sent to the printer, to try again πŸ‘Œ

Knurling is this criss cross 'Grip' texture commonly seen on metal surfaces like weight lifting bars, car jack bars, metal tools etc.
Not only does it help with grip, it also makes for a nice surface texture as well.

This design is a small container to hold a few $1 or $2 coins πŸ‘

A couple pictures of the design process below. Making the top and bottom. Then the THC design on the top, hollow out both parts, create matching threads then offset them a little to help with tolerances, cut the design in half with the section view to double check the fit, add my JP logo on the bottom, colour and print πŸ€™

This is a small desing that easily fits in your hand / pocket, only about 50mm height, perfect for storing small items πŸ™ƒ
