Starting your Canva project in the correct Aussie paper size (A4, A5, DL etc.) from the beginning makes the whole process so much easier 👍

It helps avoid last-minute resizing, moving artwork around and fixing layouts at the end. A little setup at the start can save a lot of time later! 🙂

We get often asked if we can print designs people have made in Canva, the short answer is YES! But an important step is to export it as a print-ready PDF so you get the best possible result. 👍

Before downloading, make sure your design includes bleed (usually 3mm) and that all important text and logos stay safely inside the trim area to avoid being cut off during finishing.

In Canva, turn on “Show print bleed” under the File menu and extend any background colours or images right to the edge of the bleed lines. When exporting, choose “PDF Print” as the file type, select “Crop marks and bleed,” and download the file at full size and high quality.

This helps ensure your final printed product is sharp, correctly trimmed, and ready for professional production. 😉
