We’ve been working on something behind the scenes.

Over the years, we’ve had a lot of conversations with tradies who all say the same thing:

“I just need a simple website that actually works – and fits my budget.”

So we took a step back and built something specifically to meet that need.

Built For The Trade is a streamlined website solution designed for trades and service-based businesses, focused on what matters most.

Clean. Professional. Ready to go.

Mobile was treated as a first-class experience for this build, because vehicle browsing is often happening between tasks, on the couch, or while comparing options on the go. We designed the Karuma Autohaus site to keep navigation straightforward, content readable, and listings easy to scan on smaller screens.

Filters and browsing were also optimised for mobile so users can quickly narrow down by price, odometer, make, year and more without the interface feeling cramped. The end result is a mobile experience that feels clear and practical, while still carrying the same structure and usability principles across the whole site.

The finance calculator for Karuma Autohaus isn’t just a standalone tool. We developed custom functionality that connects it directly to the vehicle listings, pulling relevant data from the car a user is viewing and using it to pre-fill key fields automatically.

That means customers can move from browsing a car to exploring repayments with fewer steps and less manual input. As they adjust the variables, the calculator updates live on screen, keeping the experience smooth and responsive. It’s a good example of where front-end UX and back-end logic work together to create something that feels simple, but is doing a lot under the hood.

Each vehicle detail page was designed to present information clearly and transparently, with layout decisions that support how people actually assess used cars online. We structured content to keep key specs, descriptions, and images easy to access without excessive scrolling or clutter.

A big part of this page is the image system. We built the listing templates to support multiple image galleries so customers can view exterior, interior, and service and condition details in a more organised way. Behind the scenes, those images and all vehicle data are kept current by the EasyCars to Webflow syncing solution, reducing manual effort and ensuring listings stay aligned with what’s in the dealership’s system.

The vehicle listings experience for Karuma Autohaus was designed to be structured, fast to scan, and easy to refine, so customers can compare cars quickly across a changing catalogue. We approached this like an inventory platform rather than a gallery, prioritising comparison, clarity, and speed of navigation.

Filtering is a key part of that. Users can narrow down vehicles by practical criteria like price, odometer, make, and year, helping them get to relevant options faster. From a build perspective, this also relies on having clean and consistent data in the CMS, which is where the syncing automation plays a huge role in maintaining reliability over time.

We built a custom finance calculator module for Karuma Autohaus, designed to make repayments easier to understand in a simple, visual way. Instead of a static tool, the calculator responds live as users change inputs, so it feels more like an interactive feature than a separate widget.

To kick things off, the form is pre-filled with the vehicle price, plus a common 20% deposit and a typical interest rate. Users can then adjust the deposit, interest rate, loan term, and payment frequency, and the module updates instantly to show weekly, fortnightly, and monthly repayments based on their financing terms. It also provides a clear breakdown of total repayments, including principal and interest, supported by a gauge-style visual that helps communicate the numbers at a glance without feeling overwhelming.

Beyond vehicle listings, we designed and built a set of clear content pages that help customers understand how Karuma Autohaus operates their dealership. The focus here was clarity and confidence, using clean layouts, strong hierarchy, and intentional spacing to make information easy to scan and genuinely readable.

From an experience perspective, we mapped out the key user journeys first, then structured the navigation and page layouts around those flows. Pages covering areas like selling to Karuma, vehicle imports, and other services were written and designed to remove friction, answer questions early, and reduce unnecessary back-and-forth before someone reaches out.
