Can you use Design Sprint to initiate a new product or define an MVP?

The answer is Yes. You can use the Design Sprint as part of a new product creation, innovation or proof of concept validation. The Design Sprint isn’t best used for ex*****on work, but rather prototyping and validation. Using the 30-60-90 concept, we explain how you can use the Design Sprint as the first 30%, where it’s about coming up with a proof, to test and see if the market/audience has the appetite for it. From there, the next 60% and 90% mark should be a combinatioin of agile methodology processes and design sprints to execute and launch your MVP. Enjoy the video!

Co-design is a collaborative design process that brings expertise and unique perspectives together - with a purpose to serve a specific, collective need or goal. We often get asked what do Designers do in an Agile or Scrum Team. Agile methodology was designed for technical teams that designers often feel lost in it. Learning from our experience, designers actually do play an important role in the process... The key words are "To Clarify" and "To Support". When you have a list of to-do's and don't know where to start... Here's a method that many modern teams and consultants use to determine priorities, it's called the Value/Effort Matrix or Prioritization method. At Relab, we use this a lot both internally and externally. It gives us perspective to what's important, and it enables us to think objectively and strategically to decide on where to put our energy in. Hopefully you find this useful!
