Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms out there!
Today, I’m feeling grateful for my own journey of motherhood, it’s been a bumpy ride (believe me), but it has brought me an incredible 1 years old boy Zachary, whom has survived more in his short life, than I ever have.
I have gotten to be a dog mom for our nearly 5 year old fur baby Benji, whom was the baby of the family until little bro Z came along.
I have also had the absolute honour of being a stepmother to my two amazing stepsons Bailey 11 and Jayden 9, whom have taught me so much about patience and love.
It’s a wild ride to raise these 4 incredible kids and dogs, while running a small Creative Studio (read me, myself and I), but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
It gives me the flexibility to set my own hours, work from home and allows me to show up for my family.
Being a mom to both human and furry babies definitely has it challenges, one minute I’m luring the dog away from the baby whom is cracking it because the dog is to close, and the next he is luring him back, just to once again crack it!
On this special day, I want to give a huge shout out to my own mom and grandmothers, who raised me with so much love and taught me the importance of hard work, determination, and kindness. And to my sister whom did her best at raising me (practice run), she’s now a mother of two while studying full time - thank you for always being there and trying to set me straight!
To all the moms out there, whether you’re raising humans, animals, or both - keep crushing it! Happy Mother’s Day! 💛💐
