Do clients connect with you as a market leader or does it feel like you are competing with too many people for overly demanding customers at low prices? It’s tempting to try to compete on price so you can attract new business, but this is counterintuitive to ultimately attracting the best customers long term.⁣
⁣
👉 If you are confident the work you do is high quality, you may need to price slightly higher than you are comfortable with to be taken seriously by your ideal clients in the first place. Clients that value the work you do will be expecting to pay for quality and pricing too low can send the message that your product is LOW quality.⁣
⁣
👉 When you combine a premium product with a premium price, you give people the best opportunity to connect with you based on VALUE and attract the clients that truly love what you offer (the sweet spot 👌).⁣

BRAND REVEAL ⚡️ Zenobia Interiors is an interior styling and decorating service based in Docklands, Melbourne. It’s aimed towards CBD apartment dwellers and owners who may not have the time or confidence to really make their space an urban oasis. ⁣
⁣
👩🏼‍🦱 Louise approached us already committed to getting her new business up and running with excellence ( 🤣). She already knew that investing in her brand design, social media presence and website (done by the amazing ) right from the beginning was going to be key to her long-term success.⁣
⁣
💡 Before designing we worked together to create avatars of her ideal clients, identifying their specific pain points and how we could craft a message that intentionally addressed those. We listed their values, and transferred those ideals to a moodboard from which to draw visual inspiration. ⁣
⁣
💻 In the design phase we leaned into earthy-yet-clean vibes to develop a luxurious, eco, restful aesthetic. The simple type-based logo is complemented by a range of expressive sub-marks with which Louise can apply to show more of her brand’s personality. This is where a logo starts becoming a brand!⁣
⁣
📖 Once branding was finalised we reviewed Louise’s goals and current social media activity and designed an Instagram strategy to guide her marketing efforts going forward. This including Canva templates to keep her on-brand, hashtag sets, a 90 day content plan and tips on building engagement.⁣

I haven’t posted much at all these last few months: my work-plate has been brimming (thank you, amazing clients!) and I have intentionally chosen not to focus on my marketing right now (😱), but to do less things better. ⁣
⁣
I’m going to sit down with (the socials master!) very soon to get myself sorted with direction and sustainable ways to add value in this space in 2020. Can’t wait.⁣
⁣
This year has seen some big wins for which I am so grateful! I’m allllways learning, about branding and small biz of course, but also to lean into the unforced rhythms of grace. Hustling isn’t the only method of growth and I’ve (eventually) come to appreciate the slower, more steady kind. For now 😉⁣

I have several web projects happening at the moment but if you’re needing branding I have 2 spots left in November and 1 for December. ⁣
