Colemans Opens Its Doors for Master Builders NT Women in Construction Site Visit and Customers are Welcome from 8:30am on Monday 27 July. Yes Colemans Creative + Printing + Signage will host the Master Builders NT Women in Construction Site Visit on Monday 27 July 2026, giving members a member-only look inside one of Darwin's leading creative and printing operations.
A Members-Only Look Behind the Scenes
The invitation comes from Colemans Printing CEO Magdaline Coleman. Around 30 to 50 members from across the construction, manufacturing and creative industries are expected to attend, taking in a guided tour of the Colemans production floor, design studio and signage airconditioned factory. For members, it's a rare opportunity to see how a 70-year-old Territory business runs day to day from concept through design, production and delivery and to connect with other women working in and around the building and construction sector.
The visit will be hosted by Magdaline Coleman (CEO), Michelle Honeybun (Head of Creative Solution) and Amberley Vegter (Digital Projects & Print Solutions), who will walk attendees through how Colemans supports clients across government, defence, corporate, health and community sectors alongside building and construction.
Supporting Women Across Construction, Manufacturing and Creative Industries
“Women in construction, manufacturing and the creative industries bring a perspective this sector needs more of. Opening our doors to the Master Builders NT network is one small way we can support that,” said Magdaline Coleman. Customers are welcome to RSVP [email protected]

On Wednesday 8 July 2026, Colemans Printing hosted The Hon. Angus Taylor, Federal Leader of the Opposition, at our Darwin facility. It was a fitting follow-on from being named the NT Chamber of Commerce's 2025 Business of the Year.

Over 90 minutes we talked through the practical realities of running a manufacturing business in the Territory. Freight and energy costs here are higher than ever before, and the cost of goods across our industry has been rising steadily. That pressure doesn't ease just because a business is doing well and continuing to invest in processes, people, and equipment.

We also talked about the importance of protecting local manufacturing capability and sovereignty here in the NT. It's a big part of why we keep investing in automation and manufacturing at Colemans. It allows us to stay competitive on quality and turnaround without compromising on being a genuinely local, Territory-based operation.

These are Territory issues, not party-political ones. We'll have the same conversation with any decision-maker in a position to help Northern Territory business.

Seventy-plus years in, Colemans remains focused on being part of the conversation that shapes the Territory's economic future. Not just printing for it.

This is where good print becomes unforgettable print.

Great design and great paper deserve a great finish. Foil stamping, embossing, die cutting... These aren't extras, they're the difference between a piece that gets filed and one that gets kept. Ask us what finishing options suit your next project.

There's a reason the world settled on one standard.

The ISO A-series is one of the most elegant pieces of design you'll never notice — every size is exactly half of the one before it, all sharing the same 1:√2 ratio. No offcuts, no waste, perfect harmony. From A0 exhibition banners down to A6 postcards, every format we run at Coleman's is part of this beautifully logical family.

Colour isn't decoration. It's communication.

Before a single sheet runs through our press, colour is doing all the heavy lifting: setting the mood, evoking emotion, and carrying your brand into the world. At Colemans, we treat colour as craft, not an afterthought. Whether you're working in rich CMYK or a carefully matched Pantone, we make sure what you see on screen is what you hold in your hands.

We love it when print brings a local story to life! 📚

We recently had the pleasure of printing 50 books for Darwin based — and what a joy it was to be part of her journey. There's something special about holding a finished book in your hands, knowing the hard work and heart that went into every page.

Congratulations, Maria! We can't wait to see your book out in the community. 🌟

There are some projects that remind you why the work matters.

We recently had the privilege of completing an acoustic panel installation for Mental Illness Fellowship of Australia NT. An organisation that has stood alongside Territorians living with mental illness for more than 30 years. Their space is one where people come together daily to find support, understanding, and connection.

In environments like this, acoustics carry a weight that goes beyond aesthetics. Unwanted noise and reverberation can quietly chip away at a person's sense of calm and safety — things that are fundamental when people are at their most vulnerable. The panels we installed soften sound reverberation, create a more settled atmosphere, and bring a considered visual warmth to the room that complements everything MIFANT works so hard to cultivate.

We are genuinely grateful to the MIFANT team for entrusting us with a project this meaningful. It is a privilege to contribute, in our own small way, to a space where people feel heard — in every sense of the word.

This is the kind of work we are proud to put our name to.
