AD | Boot weather is finally here and I couldn’t be happier! 🤎🍂 Autumn fashion is my favourite, so when reached out asking me to style a pair from their new collection, I had to say yes! The Evie Boots in mushroom were my pick because with the low heel and this neutral colour, I know it’s something I can wear with a lot of different outfits this season. AD | Can you still say “happy new year” if we’re already nine days into 2024? 🤭 Well, happy new year, friends! I have lots of posts I ended up accumulating as the end of the year got extra busy for me, so to begin with, here’s what I wore to spend Christmas Eve with my family (featuring my gorgeous gifted heels). I still have a few more tips on how to make gold shoes more “wearable” to share, but to start with I think you can’t go wrong by choosing slightly more casual pieces in a soft colour palette. Would you wear something like this?

Last night I was invited to attend the MFW menswear runway, so I figured I’d try a more “masculine” look. Enter the new Carrie Linen Suit from : a perfect blend of strong tailoring in a more feminine colour palette. (Bonus points for how comfy it is.) Can’t wait to style these pieces separately too!

O novo terninho Carrie da foi perfeito pra isso, porque une a força da alfaiataria com uma paleta de cores mais feminina. (E de bônus ainda é super confortável!) A year ago today one of my biggest inspirations in the fashion industry became my IRL teacher. Getting to meet in person and learn from her, as well as from , , and the whole Colour Festival team in São Paulo last year was pure joy. If I could go back in time I’d relive that week time and time again. ♥️

…But the real celebration happened three days after our anniversary, when I finally got to marry the love of my life. 13 years and three wedding postponements later (thanks, COVID!), Queenstown really turned it on for us. The weather was absolutely perfect for a mountain elopement, and having it be just the two of us, our planner, our photographer and our celebrant made it the most special and chilled day. We’re looking forward to celebrating with our friends and family (who we actually surprised with the news that night over Facetime) in the near future too, but April 20th, 2023 will go down as truly the most special day of our lives. ♥️

…Mas a comemoração de verdade aconteceu mesmo três dias após o nosso aniversário de namoro, quando eu finalmente me casei com o amor da minha vida. Depois de treze anos juntos e de termos adiado o casamento três vezes (valeu, COVID!), Queenstown nos recepcionou do jeito mais lindo. O clima estava absolutamente perfeito pra um casamento nas montanhas, e ter nós dois lá só com a nossa fotógrafa, assessora de casamento e juíza tornou o dia ainda mais especial e tranquilo. Não vemos a hora de comemorar com os nossos amigos e família (em quem a gente deu o maior susto quando contamos a notícia por Facetime naquela noite) também em breve, mas dia 20 de abril de 2023 vai ser pra sempre o dia mais especial da nossa vida. ♥️

It’s been a while since a selfie made it to the feed, so I thought this would be the perfect chance to re-introduce myself. But instead of making it into the whole “hi, I’m Brenda. I’m thirty, I’m a personal stylist and I live in Melbourne” yada yada, I figured I should try two truths and a lie:

1. I’ve lived in 20 different houses.
2. I met my partner of nearly 13 years in Brazil.
3. I don’t know how to drive.

🇧🇷 Faz tempo que não posto uma selfie aqui no feed, então achei que seria uma boa oportunidade de me re-apresentar. Mas ao invés de fazer aquele “oi, meu nome é Brenda. Tenho trinta anos, sou consultora de moda e moro em Melbourne” de sempre, pensei em brincar de duas verdades e uma mentira:

1. Já morei em 20 casas diferentes.
2. Conheci meu noivo há 13 anos no Brasil.
3. Eu não sei dirigir.
