Tic & Beck ❤️...

It's been a huge gap between posts on my socials as ive been deeply buried with a large amount of weddings both shooting and editing for what felt like an eternity.
I'm taking a step back and going through the weddings that I've shot but haven't had the chance to post and share.

When Dave caught a glimpse of his best friend sprinting down the aisle, you could see the happiness all over him, especially when he knelt down to receive multiple licks and dirty paw prints from Franky the puppy!

Shortly followed by the stunning Elle!

After all the hassles of Covid and rebooking dates, we were finally here & what a wonderful day it was spent with these fine specimens Elle & Dave.

2020 was a bit of mess for everyone, alot of replanning, rebooking & reorganising.
Tristan & Ainsley had originally planned tie the know in May, but were forced to postpone until the end of September. Despite the strict protocols and restrictions on numbers, this beautiful couple were able to celebrate their love in the most perfect way. I'm so glad i was able to capture their wedding to share their love with all the special people in their lives who couldn't witness the day first hand.ay.are

Big Bear Films COVID-19 Update:

To my wonderful past clients looking to their wedding videos to brighten their days, to my upcoming couples who had weddings booked over the next 6months & whom have had to postpone their date and to my future couples who are getting ready to plan their weddings for the forthcoming years, it is to you that i share this update.

The past few weeks have been frightening, unpredictable and (as ScoMo so frequently says) unprecedented. As a Sole Trader in the wedding industry, my entire income has dried up over the space of 3 weeks. Having pulled our daughter out of daycare, I am working overtime as a full-time dad to support my wife who is still able to work. I have spoken to many of my clients over the past few weeks, but I felt it was important to give you all an update on what is going on in my world, in the hope of sharing, remaining transparent and working with each of you moving forward.

So here it is, a breakdown of what’s going on in my world:

1. Due to my entire income having dried up and Government support not becoming available until mid-April, I am unfortunately unable to pay my Vimeo subscription right now. this means all of my wedding videos from past clients are currently unavailable. I am incredibly sorry if you are trying to view your videos online at this time. I am doing everything I can to get the account re-instated as quickly as possible.
2. For my clients waiting for their videos: As mentioned I am currently supporting my family as best i can by caring for my 18month old daughter during the days so my wife can work. Due to this, i am only able to edit at nights after Grace is in bed. I am doing my best to get your videos to you so that you can enjoy some happy memories whilst stuck in isolation, but please be patient with me.
3. To my clients who are being forced to postpone your weddings to later dates, please continue to keep in touch as you work on what that new date looks like - I have many weddings that need to be moved as well as weddings already booked for next year, but I remain committed to finding an available date to capture your special day.
4. To those of you looking to book your weddings into the future, please, if you can afford to, consider helping out the small businesses and sole traders affected by this horrible pandemic.

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) update:
Under any normal circumstances, planning a wedding is one of the most exciting and wonderful times of any couple’s lives together. Understandably though, the COVID-19 global health crisis we are currently living through is making wedding planning a very stressful time for those of you out there. While the situation is changing day by day, I wanted to give my clients, and those of you looking to book some reassurance that I will do everything in my power to be there for you on your special day & make your wedding feel as wonderful and carefree as it should.
Below is an outline of the policies I am putting in place as of today (16th, March):

1. In the instance that your wedding cannot be held on the original booked date (whether due to quarantine measures on the bride/groom or increased public gathering bans), I will make my absolute best efforts to work with you in setting a revised date on which to hold your wedding with the same package at which you originally booked.

2. If your wedding is cancelled and you do not wish to postpone/set a new date, you will be held to the cancellation terms in your original contract.

3. As per your original contract, in the event that I am unable to attend (in this instance due to quarantine measures) I will do everything within my power to organise a replacement to film on my behalf.

If you have any further questions regarding your wedding day or additional COVID-19 measures, please feel free to reach out.
