Mathias, Sage, Todd and Sam jumped in the car and headed up to AI Vision, hosted by Canva. A day exploring where AI and creativity meet, with talks from people across a whole range of industries and plenty of activations to get hands on with.

Highlights of the day included Mathias running the car games, Sage and Sam's very first Heatherbrae's Pies (a milestone, honestly) and a genuinely inspiring look at where AI is heading.

We're always up for a day trip in the name of learning something new. Dreamers, explorers and doers, as we like to say.

Do you remember the night that Peking Duk played at The RUC to launch their debut album? The first massive DJ set at the RUC since 1952 and it was just a casual winter Thursday night?

Yep - that was tonight. So much fun. The boys smashed it. Top work from the RUC and turning out inforce to support the local lads and Aussie music.

And yep - proof from Todd Wright that loitering in the carpark and kitchen always pays off 😉

From brief to brand.

The brief: Buchanan Residential wanted something unique that balanced fun and professional. Down to earth, approachable and a true reflection of Sam himself, a no-nonsense real estate agent, Torana driver and proud Canberra local. We even asked his go-to order and favourite cocktail to get a feel for his style. For the record, a burger and a whisky sour. He loved deep, rich colours and worn leather chesterfield vibes.

The result: a bold, approachable logo built on a heavy, playful sans serif, finished with a full stop that makes a statement all on its own. The palette brings together rich chocolate and plum, with pops of tangerine and sky blue for a bit of personality.

A recognisable, friendly face in the buying, selling and renting world.
