Hi to all that may have had a smile from by doodling's and cartoons over the last couple of years. Sadly 'this' page is drawing to a close. But I do have another page established….

It is going really well. It focuses on sketching 400 houses that are going to be demolished in the North of NSW in Australia following the 2022 floods.

My quirky little renditions of them are enjoyed by many. I am racing against time to draw these houses before the bulldozers flatten them.

A Granny fun fact. It's not imagined. The earthy smell before rain is called 'petrichor', caused by a combination of oils from plants and chemicals from soil bacteria. A fine mist released with the first few raindrops and carried on the wind.

Says it all. Farming is certainly a challenge. Floods 2025, 2022, 2017, 1974 and of course 1954.

Priorities? When living in the outback, between floods and drought, (haven't seen grasshopers for a while) and a farm actually makes some money, getting new carpet might make for a happy life. Just saying.

Yep, the outback, with the old bakelite phone, party lines and calling long distance on a sunday. Joyous times without spending hours on the Socials every blinking day. The irony is I am writing this feeling guilty.
