It's no surprise that we all should be using hashtags on Instagram but what is the hashtag etiquette?

Here are a couple of other tips for hashtags;

✖️ Keep them short and sweet, long hashtags for multiple words stringed together and just plain hard to read

✖️ Don't use them in the middle of a sentence
"Today is the day because "

✖️ Don't use all CAPS - it looks angry & shouty. You can use all lower or upper and lowercase on Facebook ie


✖️ Don’t Hashtag

✖️ Don't use unrelated hashtags: Unrelated hashtags are the social media equivalent of spam & dilutes your message

We have all done it - you've spent time working on a great engaging post - hit publish - and BAM! You're getting DM's or comments calling you out on a spelling error 🤭

Don't stress too much, we are all human after all

Here is a guide to editing your Instagram posts;

☞ Navigate to your post.

☞ Click the 3 dots on the top right of your post.

☞ Hit the “Edit” button.

☞ Go ahead and edit your caption, change your location, add account tags to your photo or video.

☞ Hit “Done” on the upper right-hand side.

☞ Drink wine and relax

Balancing business and motherhood is never easy. These last few weeks have been a bit of a struggle for me if I'm to be 💯% honest.

In the past I used to really beat myself up for not being the perfect mum, these days I'm ok with it because I know that the ‘perfect parent’ does not exist. We do the best we can & learn from our mistakes, and move forward.

Motherhood is hard / frustrating and yet the most rewarding / heart-bursting adventures I've been on.. and I wouldn’t change a thing. 🥰
