Wow – we’re still recovering from the 20/21 Brisbane Advertising and Design Club awards night, but we’ve resurfaced to celebrate such a fantastic night, and a give a huge thanks to our clients and people who we couldn’t have done it without!

This year we picked up a combined three golds, three silvers, six bronze and an additional 17 finalists! We all feel very fortunate to collaborate with such a talented, smart and good-looking bunch of clients and suppliers who made this work possible!

Special thanks to our longtime collaborator Rem Bruijn from Brainheart, and extra special shoutouts to:

Happy Halloween! Wanna hear a real horror story? It happened to a friend of a friend of mine - his client forced him to make a logo so big it took on a life of its own and killed everyone in his agency. Stay leery out there designers!

We took home SEVEN bronze trophies at this year's BADC - Brisbane Advertising and Design Club Awards - not too shabby for the first year we've ever entered! We ended up being tied for the third most awarded agency on the night and had a pretty cracker evening it has to be said. Thank you BADC for putting on such a great night, and for recognising our hard work - we're already looking forward to next year!

Leading up to the BADC - Brisbane Advertising and Design Club awards tomorrow, here's another piece of our work that was selected as a finalist. We loved creating this with The School of Thought, encouraging people to engage their critical thinking skills...something sorely needed!

Well lah-de-dog... This illustration by Chris on our design team is a finalist in the craft category of this year's BADC - Brisbane Advertising and Design Club Awards! We're pretty proud, not only of Chris and his talents, but the team effort behind the whole branding effort for one of our favourite clients Mrs Brown's Bar & Kitchen. Honestly, we thought the Korean Fried Cauliflower at Mrs Brown's was reward enough for that project, but this nomination is nice too!

Party poppers, construction sounds, Olive the office dog, questions, and even a little light heckling - all these distractions and more were par for the course during Welly's talk at CreativeMornings/Brisbane this morning. But it was all perfectly apropos to the topic: CHAOS.

It's an unavoidable part of agency life, and an essential part of the story of Welly and flip. This cool illustration by Jimmy Patch Illustration was a great souvenir from the day.

The Ekka Strawberry Sundae fundraiser for our Strawberry Growers happened today! The square was absolutely packed with locals nabbing a strawberry sundae to help out struggling farmers.

We were more than happy to help our client The Common Good Au to promote the event in the run up, and we're proud as punch to have played a small part in promoting such a great cause. And they've just sold 10,000 - onya Brisbane!
