Dreams. When we embark on the journey to see out our dreams for the kind of life we want to live and the experiences we want to enjoy, we can often get caught with our head in the clouds, having that dream only stay exactly that, a dream. Real dreams are made from getting our hands dirty and working consistently to make them dreams our reality.
Success. We define success ourselves and it comes in many different forms. Whether we want to be the owner of our own company or build the world’s tallest building, much like our dreams, success is nothing but a distant wish if we haven’t defined it for ourselves and then worked consistently to achieve it.
Growth. To assume who we are now is all we are and can become is really selling ourselves short. We get complacent when we become incredulous of our own ability. To witness our full potential first hand, we have to step outside our comfort zone and push ourselves to new limits.
Confidence. We often mistake confidence as an anointed trait. Confidence is the front cover of the book called, Grit, Determination and Hunger. Confidence is earned and built by instilling trust within ourselves by doing what we set out to do.
Complacency is common in all types of work and endeavours, the real cost for comfort is our potential. Choose your price wisely.
