This illustration of a beautiful king protea was one of the first steps in creating the wall mural at Margaret + Moore cafe back in 2018. From here I scanned it, along with all my other illustrations for this project and created the overall design with them in illustrator. Because space was limited at the cafe, I couldn't project the design onto the wall for tracing, so I had it printed to scale in black and white and slowly traced an outline onto the wall. So, when I saw a t-shirt comp over at , how could I resist? I'm sure I'll come up with more, but here's my first few attempts. Number 1 is my favourite, it would look super cute with jeans and converse, right?

A few years ago I illustrated a collection of flora for a mural at Margaret + Moore cafe. I stumbled upon them in one of my many sketchbooks and thought it would be great to do something with them to raise funds for the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal.
