Last night was the absolute best! Laughs galore with some awesome comedians! Music from the incomparable Anne Williams, two fabulous DJs including DJ OTA and a silent disco. Fun side show alley games. Chapel of love. Food from some amazing vans. Fun art projections. Making new friends. And excellent festival vibes. Oh and did I mention some amazing outfits??! So so excited and honoured to be named Runner Up in the Big Sky Readers & Writers Festival Short Story comp run by Geraldton Regional Library this year.

The story called The Family Stand, is all about precious time spent with family, about childhood memories, shared rituals, those unspoken moments of love conveyed through tradition rather than words. It’s also about belonging and community.
