It's been a while since we've updated the page. It's been a huge couple of months and for a bit of a joke I wrote a list of all the things that have been happening in ChatGPT and asked it to write me a country western song - here is what it came up with... It's pretty good really!
"Roads That Lead Me Back"
Verse 1:
I’m about to hit the road again,
Travelling this great land from south to north,
From the desert to the sea and back,
I’ve packed up the 4WD to the rafters,
Barely enough room for my fly net and hat,
But don’t you worry, all the essentials are there.
Chorus:
I’ve seen the sights, from Meekatharra to Yuna,
Mt Augustus, Gascoyne Junction, and Mt Magnet too,
Carnarvon, and all the places in between,
With my iPod playin' tunes, sweet and true,
The wide open roads always lead me back,
To Geraldton, where I re-charge and head off again.
Verse 2:
Out on the red dirt roads where the sun beats down,
Chasin' the horizon, through the dust and the sound,
The wind in my hair and the engine hummin' low,
I’m livin' free, nothin' more that I need to know.
Bridge:
Through the dust storms and the quiet nights,
The stars shine bright, and the world feels right,
But no matter where I roam, it’s clear,
Geraldton’s where my heart’s always near.
Outro:
So I’ll keep driving, headin’ out on the next track,
The roads may change, but they’ll always bring me back,
To Geraldton, where I re-charge and head off again…
