Wrapping up a week at the Designer Boss Summit and my brain is still buzzing 🫨🛸

This year’s theme: The Future of Design - all about where the design industry is headed particularly in the age of AI.

I’ve learnt so many amazing ways to use AI in my business to streamline processes and allow more time and bandwidth for me to enjoy the creative, humanity-led work that I love most.

But a few speakers hit on something that really stuck with me… in a noisy digital world where there are thousands of others shouting for attention, being CHOSEN is the whole game.

And AI is making that harder than ever if you’re not doing the right things to stand out.

What it can’t do is replace the creativity, the uniqueness, the humanity that makes your brand yours. That part stays firmly in our hands.

Which brings me to why I’m so obsessed with building websites…(besides involving the perfect mix of creativity, design and nerdy tech stuff that I love).

Your website isn’t just a pretty online brochure. it’s a visibility engine.

It’s the only digital asset that is solely yours (not an algorithm’s).

Done right, it can work while you sleep to introduce you to the right audience, speak directly to them, provide them value, and make you unforgettable to them, turning them into clients.

So while AI keeps evolving, my mission stays exactly the same: build you a website that gets you seen, gets you chosen, and lets your humanity do the heavy lifting. 🫶

I love supporting busy women in business as they journey into a new chapter! 👏

Michelle is one of those clients.

Your website to-do list just got a whole lot shorter. 👏✨

Coz trust me, there are a lot more moving parts to a worthwhile website than most people realise.

…until they’re 17 tabs deep, questioning every word, colour, image, font choice and wondering “what the f**k is SEO and GEO??”…😬

Mel from Integrated Soul’s business had evolved… but her website had not.

Her Wordpress website was outdated, overcomplicated and no longer reflected how her intuitive Coaching services had grown.

With little support from her previous web designer, she was stuck on how to update or maintain it herself.

But more than anything… it just wasn’t her anymore.

So together, we set out to build her a completely new digital home on Squarespace. 🤍

Less dull & stuffy.
More soulful, more aligned, more Mel!

We restructured things to flow better through her story and services and pulled pieces of Mel’s uniqueness into the design itself.

She’s drawn to the architecture of bridges - their curves, structure & meaning - which inspired her “Identity Bridge Method” framework.

So I wove these elements into the website design:
✨curved design elements
✨bridge imagery captured by Mel herself
✨her own animal archetype sketches

These personal touches transformed things into something unmistakably hers.

And beyond the visuals, this project was about clarity.

Offering multiple intuitive services, Mel’s challenge was communicating how they connected in a way that wasn’t confusing.

But through strategic copywriting & web mapping, we clarified:
-who she helps
-how she helps
-and how to guide visitors toward the right service for them

Once we got this right, Mel sent me a message:

“Bloody amazing! This makes me excited about my work.”

And honestly - THAT is what I want for my clients! 🥰

Now, Mel has:
