If you’ve seen it, there’s a good chance we’ve painted it.

Over the last 5 years we’ve had the privilege of putting a brush to some of the biggest hand-painted signage projects in the region. From Bunnings and Tool Kit Depot to large-scale retail, trade centres, wayfinding systems and everything in between, our work is scattered from Hobart to Darwin!

In an age where everything seems to come out of a printer, we’re proud to still be carrying on the traditional craft of signwriting.

What a project.

We’ve finally wrapped up this signage package for OTR Tyres new premises on Gladstone - Benaraby Road.

This project included:

✔ Hand-painted OTR logo on the front of the building
✔ Hand-lettered tyre brand logos across the front awning
✔ Custom ACM panel to the front reception counter
✔ Large-format mixed media, feature mural in the reception area.

The mural alone involved many hours on the brush outlining, and detailing to bring it to life. The goal was to create something visitors would remember the moment they walked through the door, and we reckon it does exactly that.

Projects like this are why we love what we do. A combination of traditional signwriting, modern print technology and a fair bit of patience.

A huge thank you to the team at OTR Tyres for trusting us with the vision from start to finish. We had an absolute ball working on this one and we’re proud to have helped put the finishing touches on an impressive new facility.

Gladstone Signs is on the hunt for a creative junior / apprentice to join the team.

This is not just another “stick signs on stuff” job.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves art, design, lettering, creativity and making things with their hands. Someone who gets excited by paint, layout, colour and craftsmanship.

You’ll work across:

* Hand-painted signage
* Vehicle wraps
* Sign production & installation
* Traditional signwriting
* Digital printing
* Design & layout
* Vinyl application

What we’re looking for:

* Creative mindset
* Strong work ethic
* Attention to detail
* Willingness to learn
* Pride in your work
* Physically fit & not scared of ladders/heights
* Someone who actually WANTS to be here

Experience isn’t essential. Passion is.

This role could suit:

* A school leaver with artistic talent
* A young designer wanting a trade
* Someone obsessed with drawing, painting, graffiti, lettering or visual creativity
* A current apprentice wanting a better opportunity
