We were safe and we had the best time for their last night in the cape.

Cape York Hunt ✔️

Life before we started travelling had almost every single weekend filled with a hunt with the families we hung with, our children have grown up hanging on the back of the utes, quads or jammed in the back seat while we went paddock to paddock chasing pigs 🐗, deer 🦌 and sometimes rabbit 🐇.

To be able to relive that here in Cape York with them while they were up absolutely filled our cup up.

Makes you realise just how special life before we left truly was and still is.

EIGHTEEN 🥂🎉👯‍♀️

Like how? How are we parents to an 18 year old 🤯 still feel so surreal but here we are sign sealed and delivered a couple a weeks after she turned 18.

So grateful we had most of our loved ones here to celebrate.

Its such a huge milestone to over come for us and her.

Heres to the big open world of adulthood and the next chapter of your life sweetheart.

We did warn them how specky Pennefather Beach is, and how you'll want to keep going back and back...

We did more than one trip out there beach combing, shifting through 101 shells, fishing, 4wd, paddling in the low tide pools and we even managed to snag a spot for dinner with a swing that the kids absolutely frothed.

Nothing will ever compare to a Cape York Sunset and something we will never ever get over seeing. 🌅 Our family was luck...

When the local copper 👮‍♂️ tells you to check out this swimming spot at the servo and you wing his directions and hope for the best. 😅

Cape York is certainly full of beautiful swimming spots, We definitely weren't jumping into the deeper hole further down it looked to sketchy 🐊 but we did chuck a line in and watched fish chase the lure with some friends here.

A weekend full of new adventures here in the Cape.
