Landing Page Launch ✨

Nearly 2 weeks ago got to launch her stunning new landing page. We worked pretty hard and pretty quick to pull this off just in time for her full moon launch on her birthday 🤗

This is the perfect example of what can be completed in a Design day intensive. I designed, prototyped and then developed this entirely custom, responsive landing page in an intensive day and we even got to include some extra special coded features to really make Megan’s services and message standout. It might be a 2 page website but it is mighty. It’s also ready to add a blog and other pages when that time comes ✨

Design day intensives are a great solution for those who are short on time or have a tighter budget. You have my undivided attention for a whole day to complete your brand or website tasks. Plus we have a strategy call beforehand to make sure we’re ready to make magic happen on the day.

Here’s some of my favourite G’s right now.

I just love a good G! I get so excited when I get to work with them. There’s a lot of stunning typefaces out there with some very unique G’s. Some of them look like a fusion between an upside down Q and an S. These pretty cool shapes mean endless possibilities to customise them in branding projects.

I also love experimenting with y too. Fun fact, Y would have to be one of the most customized letters in my work.

Did you know that we offer intensive design days for both branding and website design?

These are a great solution for those with a tight timeline and budget and I offer 2 of these every month 🤗

As per the name, a design intensive day is a full 8 hour day of me working exclusively on your project, whether that be branding or website.

These intensive days can be anything from a mini rebrand right through to a brand new website.

A typical branding intensive day could look like:

+ 30 min Strategy Call (Before the day)
+ Branding Suite - Primary, secondary, submark logos
+ Colour Palette Curation
+ Additional Brand Collateral Design
+ Font Pairings
+ Brand Board lockup
+ Mini Style Guide
+ Anything else we have time for on your priority list

For website in a day projects we have the Ready to Rise package, which includes your choice from one of my ready made website template designs, completely customized with your branding, copy and images. Prior to the design day you are given access to your list of preparation tasks to complete. At the end of your design day you have a website ready to launch and get your brand seen online.

If you’re in business and you’ve never heard the term SEO then you’ve likely been hiding under a rock or maybe you just haven’t had the chance to get your business online yet, that’s ok because it’s never too late to take advantage of the online space.
If you have heard of SEO but you’re not too sure what it is or why you should care about it then read on and let’s talk about it.

SEO stand for Search Engine Optimisation.
Long story short - it affects how your brand’s website ranks on search engines, like google. You want to get your products and services in front of your customer organically right? SEO performance affects how your website shows up in front of them… That’s why it’s important!

There are loads of different factors that affect your website’s SEO and many things you can do to improve it. Ready to take a little power back into your own hands? 🔥

Here’s a few tips on things you can do this week to improve your SEO:

• Keywords and Copy
Research relevant keywords and get them into your website copy and metadata.

• Compress Your Images
Make sure all the images on your site are 500kb or less

• STOP using third party link sites
DO NOT DO THIS!! Build out a links page on your own website so that you are receiving direct traffic, not through a third party source. All my website clients receive a links page for their site 🤗

• Create Content
Add a blog to your website and start sharing interesting and uselful things with your audience.

• Structure Your Content
Check the hierarchy of your headings and paragraphs.

• Disable Indexing of Some Pages
Pages that are light on content are not helpful to SEO. Hide these from Search engine crawlers.
