Business Awards Coach

Business Awards Coach I created the Business Awards Agency to help Business Owners recognise the value in appreciating employees by nominating them for a business award.
(2)

When a small business wins a business award for its business, products, or people, operating incomes increase by 63% and sales by 39%. For big businesses, operating incomes increase by 48% and sales by 38%. After 3 years, big business' sales have increased by 77%. Recognising people with an awards nomination? What a wonderful way to acknowledge those that continue to make the world of sales and businesses successful. (Source: https://stevieawards.com/aba/value-corporate-awards)

Trust isn’t something you say. It’s something you demonstrate. 🔧

At Terrain Electrical, trust, transparency and honesty aren’t simply words on a values statement — they shape how they look after their customers.

That can mean identifying something outside the original scope that needs attention, taking care of a small issue while we’re already there, or simply stopping to explain what we’ve found and giving the customer the choice about what happens next.

The important part? Keeping the customer informed.

Chris Bishop & Catriona Cole believe good service means doing the right thing, communicating clearly and helping our customers understand what’s happening with the buildings and infrastructure they rely on.

It’s part of what they call “the Terrain way” — building relationships through trust, transparency, honesty and accountability.

Congratulations 🥂 on their 2026 MEA awards finalists & Local Business Awards finalists news 📰 across 4 categories: Emerging Business, Electrician (Tradie) of The Year, Bill Bartley Award, and Trades of The Year!

🏆 SO PROUD OF TEAM TERRAIN! ⚡💚

There are some recognition moments that belong to one person… and yet somehow shine a light on an entire team.

A HUGE congratulations to Chris Bishop, Founder and Director of Terrain Electrical, on being named a 2026 Master Electricians Australia – Electrician (Tradie) of the Year Finalist! 🏅⚡

Chris, this recognition is so richly deserved.

Your technical expertise, relentless attention to detail, commitment to safety and extraordinary ability to solve problems others can’t have been built over more than 15 years in the electrical, instrumentation and control systems industries.

But what I admire just as much is the leader you have become.

Because behind this finalist badge stands an incredible Terrain team:

💚 Catriona Cole — Chris’s partner in business and the powerhouse helping drive Terrain’s customer experience, communication and growth.

⚡ Sam, Brandon and Josh — the people out there every day carrying the Terrain standard into the work they do and the customers they serve.

And together, they’re building something much bigger than an electrical, air con, data, and cctv security business.

They’re building a culture where people have careers, not just jobs; where apprentices and tradespeople are encouraged to keep learning; where everyone has a voice; and where doing things “the Terrain way” means quality, safety, integrity and genuine care for the customer.

Chris has spoken about wanting to help lift the standards of the industry for the next generation of electricians.

And that, to me, is what makes this recognition so special.

🏆 Chris — congratulations on being named an MEA Electrician of the Year Finalist.

And Cat, Sam, Brandon and Josh — congratulations too.

Because while Chris’s name may be on this particular finalist badge, Team Terrain is written all over it. 💚⚡

I couldn’t be prouder to be cheering you all on.

Go Chris! Go Team Terrain! 🏆🏆🏆
