OMG! Not what I was expecting when I checked the leaderboard tonight! šŸ˜šŸ’–

A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who voted for my design in the latest challenge! To come in 7th place out of 1,378 entries is an absolute dream, and I am over the moon.

Funnily enough, I actually had several other ideas for this theme that just weren't coming to fruition. At the absolute last minute, I decided to lean into that classic, sophisticated resort aesthetic and do something more obvious - palms! Who would have thought? 🌓✨

"Boutique Palms - Coral Blush" was everything about high-end resorts to me, and I’m so delighted that it resonated with so many of you.

This has completely made my day (and night!). Thank you all so much for the love and support of my work here at .

Cheers to the Top 10! šŸ„‚šŸ’ƒ

Hi everyone — hope you haven’t forgotten me!
I’ve been a bit quiet the last few days [or probably longer really] with a private job and some business organising behind the scenes, but I’m finally back with something much prettier.
Here are the colourways for my Boutique Palms design — the full set I created for the Faded Resort challenge.
It was such a fun one to work on, considering i tried so many ideas at first that didn't work as planned] especially building that soft, sun‑washed texture across all the 12 colours.
Swipe through to see the whole palette. 🌓✨
[The last 2 have slight variations, the subdued and the brighter version.]
Do you have any favorites?

I’ve been working away on a new collection called Boutique Palms, created for the Faded Resort challenge — and I’m finally ready to share it!

The hero colourway is Coral Blush, but the full palette has grown into a beautiful set of eight tones, plus two multicoloured versions: Multihued 1 and Multihued 2.

Each colourway has its own personality — from the soft coastal feel of Sunlit Reef and Verdigris, to the moodier Copper Canyon, to the lively multihued blends that surprised me in the best way.

I’ll be posting mockups over the next few days, and honestly… seeing these designs in interiors and apparel has made me fall in love with them all over again.

Thanks for following along — more to come! 🌓✨

The Moody Botanical Series (Part 2)
šŸŒ™ The Moody Side of the Damask. šŸŒ™

While the "Lighter" half of this collection is all about airy, fresh energy, I couldn't resist exploring the more atmospheric side of these botanicals.

Leading with Regent Grey—the "happy accident" from my studio session that turned into a total favorite. There’s something so sophisticated about these deeper, desaturated tones; they bring a sense of history and quiet drama to a space.

From the velvety depths of Dark Lavender to the grounded elegance of Grey Teal, these colorways are designed for rooms that need a bit of soul. Think cozy libraries, statement bedrooms, or a dining room that glows by candlelight. šŸ•ÆļøāœØ

The full Botanical Harlequin Damask collection is now live on in both large and medium scales.

Are you team "Light & Airy" or team "Moody & Atmospheric"? Let me know in the comments! šŸ‘‡

The Botanical Harlequin Series
✨ A fresh perspective on a classic. ✨

After spending time on the "Jungle Nursery," I felt a pull toward something a bit more serene and purely botanical. I’ve taken the structured harlequin grid and detailed foliage from my latest project and curated a series of 12 colorways. Here's 6 fresh & light versions which you will find in my Nature| Botanical & Tropical section.

Leading with Lemon Chiffon—because who doesn’t need a bit of fresh, happy energy in their home? šŸ‹

This collection ranges from airy, "new traditional" neutrals like Early Dawn and Scotch Mist to some deeper, more atmospheric tones.

Perfect for wallpaper, statement upholstery, or elegant drapery. Now live in my shop!

Which one would you pick for a feature wall? šŸ‘‡

The Jungle Nursery Damask Series
✨ Finding the perfect balance for the nursery. ✨

I’ve expanded my Jungle Nursery Damask into a full series of options to suit every nursery style. Whether you love a classic, colorful storybook look or a more peaceful, subdued atmosphere, there is a version designed for your space.

🌿 The Classic Set:
The multicolored designs—including my hero Sage & Blue entry—bring a whimsical, vintage charm to the room. I love how the hand-illustrated animals stand out against the soft, contrasting damask backgrounds.

ā˜ļø The Mono Set:
For a more minimalist and serene nursery, I’ve curated four monotone variations: Olive Frost, Sky Mist, Rose Quartz, and Cornflower. These desaturated tones offer a sophisticated, tonal look that feels incredibly calming on a statement wall.

The harlequin grid keeps the whole series feeling structured and helps to create a serene and curated atmosphere for a nursery space.

Are you a fan of the classic multicolored look, or do you prefer the quiet elegance of the Monos? šŸ‘‡

🌿 New Release: The Jungle Nursery Damask 🌿

I’ve been working late into the night here on the Gold Coast to get this design just right for the latest design challenge!

This project was all about finding that "sweet spot" between a whimsical jungle theme and a sophisticated, boutique nursery feel. I’ve moved away from high-saturation colors toward this dreamy, desaturated palette of dusty sage, powder blue, and soft cream.

By organizing my hand-illustrated animals—like the standing tiger, the curious giraffe, and my favorite owl-topped hippo—into a classic harlequin damask grid, the design feels organized and timeless rather than cluttered.

I’m so happy with how this "vintage storybook" vibe turned out! It’s designed to be calming and high-end, perfect for a statement nursery wall or sweet organic bedding. As you scroll through you'll see a close up of the background I created.

Which animal is your favorite? The sleepy sloth or the gentle elephant? šŸ‘‡

This came up in my Facebook feed today and I thought I'd share it. These are the days when my son was much younger, and we would go cycling through the parklands nearby in Adelaide, Australia. I used to love the way the light hit the trees and tried to capture the mood of one of our days there. This piece was created in soft pastels—I’ve always been so fond of the texture they create.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week! Are you a fan of using pastels, or do you prefer a different medium for your art?
