Isn't Hugo looking chuffed? 😄

Stopped in at The Mantaray Marina & Residences this week and it's easy to see why. The marina is officially open, boats are arriving and the whole place has an amazing buzz about it.

For a team who's spent plenty of time around marinas, this is one of those projects where you can appreciate the little things. The space, the finish, the layout and the quality throughout are all first class.

I also bumped into a few familiar faces from the industry checking it out, and everyone seemed to have the same reaction... impressed.

The Broadwater just keeps getting better.

Some of the biggest growth opportunities for a marina aren't found in the financials. They're found walking the docks, observing how the marina operates, and speaking directly with the customers who use it every day.

This week we were onsite at The Bowen Marina undertaking a comprehensive business review. The conversations with boat owners and visitors often reveal the small 1% improvements that can significantly enhance customer experience, operational efficiency and commercial performance, creating opportunities for substantial business growth.

With the Bowen Harbour Masterplan currently under review, it's also an important time to understand not only what opportunities exist for the marina today, but how Bowen Marina can play an even greater role in the future vision of the harbour and waterfront precinct.

When we did, it was a great reminder of why we love this industry.

The team at Coffs Harbour International Marina haven’t just upgraded the marina infrastructure, they have followed the improvements all the way through to the marina village including the customer amenities.

🚤☀️ Most people think summer is the best time for boating... but I'd argue winter has it beat.

Yesterday we spent the day at Pelican Waters Marina with Maritime Safety Queensland filming some content around safe boating this winter.

The reality is that winter often delivers some of the best boating conditions of the year. Sunny days, lighter winds, comfortable temperatures and fewer boats at your favourite anchorages make it a fantastic time to get out and enjoy our waterways.

Before you cast off, take a few moments to:
✅ Plan your trip
✅ Check the weather and conditions
✅ Make sure your safety gear is onboard and up to date
✅ Know the rules on the water

A small amount of preparation goes a long way towards ensuring a safe and enjoyable day on the water with family and friends.

A huge shout out to Pelican Waters Marina for putting this initiative together and investing in promoting safe boating practices. It's great to see the marina leading from the front and encouraging more people to enjoy the water safely.

With the Superyacht cruising season coming into full swing in the South Pacific, we sat down with Cynthia Rasch (CEO) of Port Denarau Marina in Fiji, to talk about their new Superyacht berth capacity available including Fiji’s first mega yacht berth up to 115m.

It is great to see more marinas investing in Superyacht infrastructure in the South Pacific, providing more capacity for yachts to base themselves longer and extend their charter operations.
