To inject positivity for anyone affected by the Australian bushfires and even for yourself if you are facing your own turmoil/inner fire, let’s try to raise morale from day 1 in 2020. Amidst the heartache, there are many, many stories of hope, prosperity and success. Allow a focus on uplifting others and be “other centred” in 2020....
My thoughts and prayers today are not for my own New Years resolutions and selfish desires but rather for the families affected by the devastating bushfires across Australia.
NYE pictures and “celebrations” across Australia would be vastly different.
Communities where I once travelled the beautiful coastline as Cruiser Chick for PowerFM radio covering Merimbula to Bateman’s Bay are now red and black reflecting a Terminator movie scene rather than the beauty and tranquility of Oz.
It’s a mind shift to survival where communities come together.
If you have a story to share where you or someone you know was victorious - from rock bottom to conquer the mountains, please share to help others in a time of need.
Our mind is our greatest weapon or weakness...
As well as stories, I’m donating to help the cause financially... a thought for is all in 2020 is to give - http://bit.ly/NSWFires2020
Rural Fire Brigades are often more than just an emergency service. They can also be a vital community service, provide a community meeting point or offer assistance with non-emergency roles.
